Looking to buy a new small factor VW Mod

I have a IPV Mini 2 and I think it is too much for me. I like it, but it is too bulky for me. I am using the Atlantis tank and my preference is 0.5ohm atomizer.

I like the Aspire CF MAXX Battery but I can't change the battery and I usually go through 2-3 batteries a day.

Therefore I am wondering if anyone can suggest me the following mod:
- Replaceable 18650 battery
- Variable Wattage (at least 30 Watt)
- Small Form Factor (1/2 size of IPV mini2)

I second this. The D2 is a heavy mod compared to the Cloupor Mini Plus (super tiny) and the VTC. If you want the tiniest and lightest go with the Cloupor. The Evic VTC is a great mod also but it's a little larger than the others.

The D2 has the weakest paint finish of all of these and the battery door can be wonky. It's also the only one out of these that doesn't have step down (if that matters to you).

Like @smacksy said, cloupor has a bad track record. It wasn't so long ago their mods had a spontaneous combustion problem. The ipvd2 and the sig75 are both good options.

I have been using 2 of the original Cloupor Mini's since January and they're still in my daily rotation. Never had a single issue, although my Evic VTC Mini is my favorite mod. The issue a few people had with the original Cloupor Mini was with the on board charger. I've never used it. If you regularly use on board charging then just about any mod can have issues. It's definitely the lightest and smallest 18650 TC mod. It's also the weakest at only 50 watts, so there's that.

Been using my Cloupor mini for maybe 4-5 months now. It's one of my favorites for carrying around town on motorcycle and can fit in my pocket good if need be. I use it with Kanger subtank nano occ head rebuilds and it works well for me. The EHPRO SPD A5 (50W and lite) is also a good little device to carry around except that temp control is almost worthless. Sigelei mini 30W is another nice one.

What's step down?

Step down allows the mod to send less power than the battery voltage to the coil. It literally steps the power down.. below the level of the power source (battery). If you use a .5 ohm coil with a fully charged battery you will get at least 30 watts of power to the coil using the IPV D2 no matter how low you set the watts. You set the mod to 15 watts, you'll still get 30+ watts. It can't reduce the power below the battery voltage in watt mode. It can do it just fine in temperature control mode though. For vapors who love to vape at high watts it isn't an issue, unless (maybe) they are trying to break in a brand new low ohm coil.

Right now I'm vaping a .5 ohm Crown tank at 22 watts on my Evic VTC mod. It's able to put out 3.41 volts because it has step down. If it didn't have step down it would be at 32 watts even if it was set to 22. I like a cool vape so step down is very useful.

I didn't have any problems with my 2 Cloupor minis. Pocket daily drivers, so they too got scratched up. It does seem maybe the D2 paint is a little soft. I put the sleeves on. My sub tank mini did fine with 30w, but all the great new tanks need more. The D2 is only slightly bigger than the Cloupor, but it is nicer in the hand. The D2 has a lot to offer in a tiny box for a great price. If the Cloupor mini really meets your needs, hard to go wrong for $30.

Macro is small? I think they're a little confused about the meaning of macro lol.

Sure does look sweet but 0.1 minimum coil would be a tough limit building in small areas.

We were talking about the brand new Cloupor Mini+, not the original. The new "Plus" model has Ni200 & Titanium temp control and does 50 watts. It looks like it has a ton of other upgrades over the older one like a spring loaded SS 510 (finally), baked-on finish, step-down, and a 0.1 ohm resistance limit. It's also 1mm taller and 1mm wider than the original Cloupor Mini.

That said, I probably won't order it. The eVic VTC Mini spoiled me with that huge screen. It's just so damn nice. But if somebody is looking for the tiniest and lightest pocket friendly temp control mod, the Cloupor Mini+ seems like a serious contender.

Then, I bought a eVic-VTC Mini and I am blown away! This is an amazing and super-nice device that delivers everything that I wanted!
My only concern is the paint... My old IPV Mini 2 started shedding paint within a month and I had to buy a silicone case for it-- it was ugly. I am hoping that eVic will last longer.

PS - on the image below you can see that display is large, but the refresh rate is a little slow for the camera. It is not noticeable when I use it.

Glad you found something that works for you! I don't think you have to worry too much on the paint. I have been using one for a couple weeks, and I carry everything in my pockets and I'm generally rough on my mods. So far, not a single scratch in the paint. However, if you are still worried about it, maybe you could pick up a Jwrap for it? Even if I do scratch it, I am confident that it will not shed paint like the IPV Mini 2 (mine did the same thing). I've never seen any other mod shed it's paint like that, it was a really big problem with that mod specifically.

I'm seeing one on the Horizon for me. My Sigelei 75W is a big disappointment. It's as heavy as my dual battery mods, plus doesn't fire sporadically.
