Is that why they call it an iStick? Hehehe

Seriously though, mine has stuck a few times (only 3 times so far). Has anyone else had this problem? I've had it for about 2 weeks. It hasn't autofired at all though (yet).

My fire button seems okay, but the power adjustment buttons are pretty loose and rattly...my thought is "what did I expect for 30 bucks?"

I've had the istick 100 for almost 4 months with no issues. It's not my daily but I use it often. Take the batteries out and blow it out with compressed air. It may just be dust causing the problem. Is it possible some juice ran down behind the button? That could be the culprit.

I wonder if it's the same problem as the 50w? I had such issues with it on two differrent units, (as did others) when I hit the fire button, it didn't fire, but happened like every third hit....hope it works out for you, it's what has kept me from the 100w even for $30

I have 1 (had 2) and my button has stuck. It stuck the first week I owned it and it stuck another time since. I've only run maybe 3 tanks through it because I hate it. Its a design issue and not a dirt or dust issue. I've been unable to force it to stick trying to replicate the problem. I've owned it for about a year now. ;)

Haven't had issues with mine sticking or auto firing. The +/- buttons rattle a little but other than that it's been a pretty well-spent $29.99.. I do wish mod makers would stop putting USB ports on the bottom of the device.

Had mine for about a month with no issues, good work mod, and ever since I put the wrap on it the buttons don't rattle.

I'm going to get a wrap for mine eventually from Fasttech on my next order(only $2.37). My Istick sounds like a box of Tic Tacs. No firing button problems, but there is something sliding around inside(maybe it's a prize).

Something sliding around inside does NOT sound like a good prize to me! Hopefully it is something plastic, and not something metal that could inadvertently cause a short!

I've had my 100w iStick since Tuesday (it's now Friday). It's gotten stuck on me a few times this morning. But I think my problem is juice behind it. One of those times where you blow the drip tip off the bottle kind of days.

A friend bought one with a sticky button. I told her to exchange it right away, and VapeNW sent her a new one which works perfectly!

Some has problems with stucking fire button. I have opposite fault: it wont fire at all. I just dismantled the device for pieces and cleaned bot pin connection surfaces with isopropanol and reassembled that. No help :/ All wires seems to be where they should be but don't understand enough to investigate those semiconductors. Any advice? Similar problems and possible solutions?

Which istick, the tc100w? I think they make a couple different 100w versions. My first one died, the button inside (actual switch) is on a small circuit board which lays flat against the main circuit board. Only thing holding it on is 4 small solder points, all on one edge and it bent like a hinge until one of the contacts snapped inside. Second one's been ok for the past several months. No rattling, the paintjob sucks ass though.

Looks like some sort of urban camo design lmfao. Keep in mind this mod sets on a desk or table, doesn't rattle around in my pocket with loose change, doesn't kick around a tool shop or anything. My first one did the same thing. This is after like 4mo maybe.

Thanks. Mine is normal 100W. Cannot see visible faults in the circuits at least with magnifying glass. There can be ofc some broken parts - too ignorant to do any semiconductor level investigations, not to even mention repair those. Sad, in very good condition that device otherwise.

Would need some advice how to check that board. I could measure will they come some voltage. Maybe i should install some 0,1-0,5 millimeter tiny sprocket between the button itself and the board pin?

edit: inserted one piece of electric tape between the button and main pin - no help :/
