So, I have the option to pre-order snow wolf v2 or get the DNA 200 they both look great and do what I want them 2 do. But like always, there is a decision 2 be made because I can't have them both. Any suggestions?

The DNA 200 is probably much better but probably double the price of the snow wolfe
@yamoo bc I have the snow wolf v1.5 and I absolutely love the device so I can only it imagine that the updated version will be much better, not to mention that I have another mod to vape until they actually release the v2. Not to mention the research of the mod itself I have done. I hope this answers your question Sir.

I would not assume it is going to better. They are using a new chip so you never know how it will perform. Moreover, the bigger screen will drain battery faster.
Also, how have you done research on a mod which has barely any information available except its tentative release date.
In the end it is upto you man. I would wait for PBusardos reviews before ordering DNA200. And I would definitely not pre-order a device which is going to be released in December 2015.

Do you mind sharing the info you have on Snow Wolf V2 because I certainly was not able to find it?

I know right! OP is talking like he has done so much research on the mod that he knows everything about the mod down to the button size.
I'm not knocking or saying anything about anyone lol. I'm a neutral party or BREAZY lmao. I just posted a link to what I found. I do like the screen. The SMY 170 we got in has a similar screen. Hey hope it's good. We like to see people happy ! That's what it's all about.

Frankly, nothing in the TC world is settled. I want SS in TC. The DNA is the only one right now doing it consistently. With Evolvs past, it's a bit of a gamble even with a lot already on the street.
The Snow Wolf hasn't seemed to get SS figured out yet. You would think it would be in a V2, but l wouldn't pre order it.
I guess if you love your v1.5, and you don't care for the price of the DNA, why bother with a 200? Get the SW with the blingin color screen.

Yihi and evolv have been one upping each other since the first sx350 and the dna20.
Evolv invented temp control, yihi fixed temp control, evolv had to prove they don't suck, and they did when they took the lead back with the 200. One of the best features is not having to wait for an update to make a new wore work in TC.
You just upload a tcr curve and/or give it the ratio and case closed.
Now, yihi will undoubtedly incorporate something similar with the sxv2.

I'll come at it like this. At this point in time, the best chip for TC is the DNA200. When Yihi releases their new chip who knows.

And that's what competition does. You can have all the evil companies sitting in a dark vapor filled room, controlling the market... But somebody will always be willing to make a buck doing different.

But, one factor to consider, even with Yihi, who is also a board maker, what is the most cost effective way to sell new boards? Add features. Now if you go after the maker of "those who do not already use your boards", you can either build a new board, and write firmware to run it, or just write new firmware for your existing board and give the features the board never had before, but without the tooling costs of a new board, so you have to sell a lot fewer boards to make the same profit that you would if you made a new board altogether. This is one reason why these companies give current owners new features-- it's a by-product of marketing to new customers. The other side of the coin is, keep the existing customers happy and excited for your product, and they will sell it for you through word of mouth

But no company exists in a vacuum. And other companies want a piece of the pie and are willing to give what the market is asking for to get it. Keeping market share, and getting market share are different problems with different solutions.
@MR MAYHEM Ima jus go ahead and wait on the snow wolf v2. I hope i made the right decision. Waiting period sucks but supposedly all good things come to all that wait is what I'm cashing in. Not to mention that screen tho.

I'm getting heavy into this vaping stuff to not smoke cigs. And I have noticed first runs of stuff seem to have some sort of issue. So I just usually end up waiting for next version I don't care if it's outdated in a week. Since new ish comes out every week. Lol

I'm not crazy crazy wit it yet. But it's better than spending almost 11 to 20 a day on cigs. And on top of that. I have the original tfv4, the tfv4 mini, ipv3li and the limited edition 1.5 snow wolf on order. So I keep checking tracking numbers to see when they come and make sure I get to them first

I do, but its really more of a trend thing, I never buy a pioneer 4you mod until after they've been out for a few months, I've also learned to not EVER buy a nod without the ability to upgrade unless of course its a mech or something like a hexohm.
The reality is though, the big names or major mods are all gonna have a yearly update, and some of the more popular toppers.... kind of bullshit when they do shit any earlier than that.
Best battery for Snowwolf is TESIYI 18650 2600 40a . It's the only manufacturer who made Max Discharge Current 40A happen in China .

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.... Sigelei and Snowwolf are the same, Sigelei owns the Snowwolf trademark now, they will be making and releasing the Snowwolf brand... BTW, according to Sigelei on Facebook, no firmware update ability for the SnowWolf 218.....
This is what the mod is supposed to look like with 3 18650 batteries, but they are really sitting the bed on releasing it..... hopefully they don't pull what Sigelie did....
