E- caffeine

http://flavorwest.com/index.php/caffeine/e-caffeine.html. has any one tried this? I have read mixed statements about this topic one is that its only metabolized when injested others saying "Because caffeine and nicotine both have "polar" bonds and PG is a polar solvent, it creates a solution. This basically means that you vaporize the PG, and it transports both chemicals straight to the pulmonary blood barrier.".. I would love to give this a shot but that's 20$ (after shipping) out of my next purchase cycle for some thing that I'm questioning. If it works I thit it may be worth it... To me

THe majority of those who have tried caffeine in e-liquid feel there is no benefit whatsoever. 'Matter of fact, that has been the case since its introduction as the latest and greatest. Most called it BS. It's only been lately that I have read that some feel a degree of effect. Whether that is actual or psychological is an unknown and moot, really, cause if you think you feel it, that's good enough, right?

Bottom line, it's a crap shoot. I'd pass as I'm a caffeine agnostic. Rather than make that kind of investment, you should track down one of the juice vendors who 'spikes' their stuff in order to try it for yourself. Get buzzed, buy some for your DIY.

In any event, I wish you well in your adventure. Fun, ain't it!

I stand strong on getting my caffeine with my morning coffee, not inhaled into my lungs:)

Agreed and Amen.

And thanks for including that suggestion, @Artemis. I didn't have the man-tackle to include that potentially lethal stuff in the post above. The warnings at that link are mild compared to other sources; 'scared me off.

I understand, and agree I'd rather drink a monster (not a coffee fan) but most days at work I'm on a call for 3+ hours trying to fix someone's computer and we aren't allowed to use holds so thats no getting up for another one. The idea of a boost while i vape intrigued me. The more (or lack there of) information/reviews I came across lead me to believe it was more of a placebo as mentioned above. My hope was someone here (which I feel is a credible resource) would have some experience with it being effective.

Really not sure how you would learn any more than your searches brought you, Here on VU, credible resources are in the eye of the beholder and quite frankly here the topic has been talked about a few times but if your looking for someone to tell you its safe with documented proof, or a method on how it would be added to vape juice , I think you will fall short for information on that. Good luck though:):)

Why to people insist on adding MORE stuff to eliquid than is already in it?? When we smoked, it was "buy a pack of smokes"...the end..LOL Are there not enough juices and flavors to keep us entertained? I mean sure..curiousity..pushing the envelope..blah blah blah. It's a replacement for smoking..I think people need to remember that. Just my 2 cents :)

Not sure what 'holds' are Dbreezy, but do wish you well finding something that works for you. Artemis' suggestion seems logical (unless you take three at a time & endure sustained jitters for eight hours).

You could buy a small cooler and bring a couple of energy drinks with you. I mean...if they are cool enough to let you vape while you are working on exposed circuitry...they shouldn't have a problem if you bring a couple of energy drinks with you as well.....just saying...

Well those things are just garbage to begin with, how they are still on the market is a true unknown.

So, I found a 10 ml sample size and tried it out... Nothing... What I was expected. However I put some in the wifes juice (without her knowledge I'm evil I know she'ed have tried if I asked I just wanted to eliminate the placebo effect) and there was a difference. Difference being she didn't take any Excedrin the days she was vaping the caffeinated juice. She doesn't drink soda or coffee any more as Excedrin has caffeine i am assuming here that it does deliver the caffeine just not enough to get all gassed up... Just thought I'd post the results

Good to know.
Still not going to guinea pig myself to test it out.

Ya not a chance in ever loving hell, some of those compounds react way different when heat is applied.

The juice with ground-up bull testicles in it really works! But this 72 hour erection has me a little concerned.
