MVP Pro Screen Anomaly!?

Any idea whats happened to my screen on my MVP? Looks like a burnt piece of something has gotten lodged in between the glass and actual board. Could this be part of a connection or part of the board thats gotten too hot?

I can't tell what it is from the pictures. You are certain that it is something between the screen and the glass, and not the screen itself? I would definitely contact the store where you got it, and maybe even Innokin as well. I would also keep a close eye on the mod for any sign that it is not functioning properly.

Keep in mind that without the unit in hand to look at it from many angles what I'm about to say may be a load of crap. My first thought was that the display is delaminating, I haven't see that since the early days of LCD displays but defects do pop up. If I'm right it will get worse over time until the whole display is black. If a chunk o snot got between the cover glass and display it'll stay the same and bug you until the end of time. Ether way if its still under warranty I'd take it back.

Do you still have that plastic film on there that covers the screen? Maybe it's between that and the screen

Lol. Im quite sure its inbetween the actual glass and the LCD board. Ive had it for about 3 months.

Was just going to say that. I'd be tempted to open that mod up and blow some air in there. You only have a 90 day warranty anyway

It has definitely moved, if it is easy to take the mod apart, then I would recommend doing just that and cleaning it out as thoroughly as possible. Who knows what else might be inside it.
