I have a Ke Cig k100+ with a artic, horizon tech tank BTDC .5ohm 30-80watt coil, that I bought second hand. I was wondering if that is a safe set-up to vape with?

I'm unfamiliar with your mod but I know the tank very well. If that is a 100 regulated mod, which it sounds like it is, the you should be golden.

It seems your mod is mechanical. Still should be golden. Just be safe when you vape. http://www.steam-engine.org/ohm.asp is your friend.

2 things...

1. Make sure you don't screw the mod down so far it auto-fires, given it's a telescoping unit.

2. Use good batteries - I like Samsung 25R or LG HE2 or HE4.

3. You're golden.

For your mod, I would stay above .2 ohms. See steam engine link above for all your battery/coil needs.

Horizon makes a .2 ohm BTDC for the Arctic tank you have. It will be fine on your mod.
