IPv4 Black-STILL CANT SEE SCREEN

Hey all, I'm new to this site so thanks for having me! I know this was a heated topic for a while but here's my problem. I have a black IPv4 and it DIDNT have the mirror issue! It DID have the black piece of film on the screen. I opened the case and removed the black film. However, even after doing that, the only way I can view the screen is to be in a completely dark room! I'm talking like going into a room in the middle of your house with no windows just a door to enter. By doing that and after waiting for about 5 minutes with my eyes closed then opening them I can barely and I mean barely see the screen! This problem just came on all of a sudden and it makes the unit pretty useless! Prior to 3 days ago even with the film on the screen the unit worked GREAT! So what gives, I sure don't have a clue! Nothing has changed with anything as far as use and it hasn't been dropped or come into contact with water! I sure hope someone can help me as I paid 89.99 for this at a shop back in June of 2015. I sure don't want to have to purchase a new unit! ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED, Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to the forum, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your screen. I have two V4's that the screen has been good for 6 months now. I can't imagine what is wrong with your unit but maybe you might send it in for repair. Wish I could help them more, good luck!

Thanks for the kind welcome to the site! Yeah it really stinks to pay $89 bucks to have the thing only work for about 5 months without any issues. I read all the time about issues with many of the vape products on the market. So many people say as consumers we all should not stand for such inferior products all the time especially for what these items always seem to cost us! This is another situation where that rings in as well! I guess someone, one day might finally put his or her foot down and say, "We aren't taking this crap anymore"! Thats as far as it goes for these companies that continue to put out products that are costly and have known issues that aren't fixed before sent out to market. And that of course holds true for my device as well. This entire screen issue was known by the manufacturer but they sent the product right out the door to start making their money!

Anyhow, thanks for the response. I sure was hoping that as big as this site was that more people would reach out to me and try to help me with this problem. Have a good one and thanks again for the help!
