I love this topic it starts a war for some odd reason.. I get mine from where they are good at the moment but that changes.. I typically only buy HE2's or VTC5's when I can find them Actually Sony is selling VTC5's right on Amazon at the moment even though they claim they dont haha pretty funny go seek and though shall find

There are quite a few counterfeit batteries out there being sold, so looking for reputable dealer is useful. I buy from rtdvapor.com and imrbatteries.com. Do Google for some primers about re-branding (efest etc) and look for sites from people you trust (I trust Phil Busardo for example) good luck!

I will shamelessly self-promote:

I am one of the co-founders of (removed by staff) I have visited my factory dozens of times and am completely sure of the integrity of our supply chain. As such we guarantee all our batteries meet Grade A specs.

However at this time we do not process small orders. If you are a wholesaler, retailer, or need custom packs feel free to send us a message.

I used to always order from RTD when I used AW batteries (in my Reos) but now I order from liionwholesale - prices are great, and I can be sure they're authentic.

Sony does not sell batteries on Amazon, when it says "by sony" it just means the seller listed them as being made by Sony....doesn't mean they're telling the truth. Amazon doesn't sell batteries either, it's only third party sellers and it's worse than ebay in my opinion for authenticity. I would really highly recommend never buying batteries on Amazon.

Good advice, Jon! I refuse to buy my batteries from anyone other than @LiionWholesale.com

I was going to plug your site, but I'll just quote you instead. Also, here's another link to Liionwholesale. http://liionwholesale.com/

Also, got my first batteries from Amazon not knowing any better. I'm guessing they were Samsungs. They never failed. I got lucky.

you can buy authentic batteries anywhere including amazon and ebay.

The problem is you can also buy fakes, off brands, and batteries that are not so good or potentially dangerous ANYWHERE.

Unfortunately more of the bad batteries are sold on eBay and Amazon then anywhere else, because they are such huge marketplaces.

you can often get a great deal on Amazon and eBay for vape supplies including batteries.
But you must be aware that there are people on those sites who will rip you off and sell fakes, etc.
You as the consumer must do your research.
check seller's feedback
if you do buy them and they turn out to be fakes SEND THEM BACK
amazon and eBay have very liberal return policies.
