Takes a few toots more to "break in" vs the Koh gen do, for the price, I'm willing to deal with that.

I like it. I have the medium pads that come packaged in three rows. I get 8-10 wicks off of each pad, depending on the coil ID. I think the only difference between the medium and the large is the height and width. Sure looks that way, anyway.

Seems like the pads aren't as thick as KGD, but they perform more or less the same. The break-in time is indeed a little longer (literally as Zamazam said - a few toots more.) I've noticed that peeling off one or both of those outer, compressed top layers helps a bit with that.

Great bang for the buck. I've been using the only bag of it I've ever bought for a year now and I still have a third of it left. I have nothing bad to say about it.

I use that as well. Usually peel outer layer off first.
I just got some F5 Supima cotton too. So far I'm impressed.
