I don't own a snow wolf but I can tell you from past experience that not all 510 connections are created equal. I could not screw a Manta V2 atty onto an authentic Black Copper Stingray I used to own and the irony of that is they are made by the same company.

Sometimes, especially with smaller run items, but it can be with any, that the 510 connections can be a few microns larger or smaller than the "average" or "standard" 510 measurements. That can unforchanately cause some devices to not fit well together...The way to find out if that is simply the case is to try and screw other things together to see if they work or if you have a 510/eGo or 510/510 adapter and that connects them successfully than you know it's just the connections have too wide of variance to work together bud. I hope that's just the problem and it is that simple and I am sorry they don't fit together. That really sucks :(

Any results to remedy his issue Monkey? My 510 threads are stripped after only 3 months. I do change out 10 different attys in my rotation but that should not matter. Also other than sending it back and paying to fix it which I do not mind doing for only $32 plus shipping, is there any other fix for this. Is it a major problem that Decembers V2 release will fix? Maybe Ill just wait. Or switch mod brands. Can you help or anyone please?

The first series snow wolf (not sure of the rest) 510 is silver plated copper threads so over time it actually stretches pretty shitty design specially since the 510 os pressed into the body

Basically its screwed not trying to be a ass but ya they made the 510 from copper and pressed it into the body chances are they would put another silver plated copper 510 back in it and ull be in the same boat 3 months down the road i had tue same issue and there is not fixing it without sending it in for repairs u would be better off getting a different mod

Thanks otto85. So what would you do? Is there no fix out here? The issue is obvious, the fix is the mystery right? Do they have a V2 with better threads coming in December?

I dont know if the v2 has better threads but me personally i wouldnt even risk it the price is still in the mid to low $100 theres much better mods for around $80-$90 like the sigelei 150tc it actually out performs the snow wolf there isnt any user repair the whole mod would have to be pulled apart put into a press to extract the old 510 and put a identical 1 back in they really screwed the pooch with that mod design

That is fine and dandy if you can actually get the snow wolfs 510 out without damaging the body

That would help with non preexistant issues but sadly once the snow wolf 510 stretches its done unless the old 1 is pressed out and a new matching 1 is pressed in they did a few funny things with the 510 housing on that mod

I'm with you, my ipv4, the upper threads gave way but the threads at the bottom of the 510 still had a bite, pushed and screwed the heat sink in. It worked. I will definitely always use one on all my mods, new and old, rather wear it out than the 510.

I don't do FT, you get what you pay for. I've been using the Klutch for awhile, well made, solid SS, spring loaded 510, great threads.
