What is the max mAh USB charger I could use for the D2? This Motorola charger is 1150 mAh...

One way is to try it, and if it fries oh well..excuse to get another mod I reckon, lol

You can use a 1 million amp power supply. The d2 will only draw as much as the charging board will allow which might be 500mah

Thanks Eric! I'll go ahead and try the Motorola charger.

On a side note, I never charge my batteries in my d2. I always use N external charger. So just keep an eye on it while charging. I just don't trust the charging port on board.

I put the sleeve back on it and gonna try in-mod charging for the first time using the 3.5mm pin charging cord... I don't trust micro USB but I think this set-up will be problem free...shall see in a few hrs as I just plugged it in...lol

Hmmm, I wonder if any of you read the manual at all, if not, please do so. Here, it states clearly what to ise for charger.

I always tell my friends to read the manual carefully when they get a new item.

BTW, I always remove and charge battery(ies) separately outside by using external charger. I never trust on board charging unless absolutely necessary (I only own 1 box mod that you can't replace batteries, the eVic VT).

Yeah man that's a good idea if I had a manual to read. It must have got thrown out in the trash along with the box. That's why I posted my question here, but thanks for the idea

My on board charger on my D2 craped out and has to be fiddled with for 5 minutes or so until the light comes on and then I have to set a can of coke the cord to keep it at an angle. The charge port is a POS but I love the mod.

Sorry to hear that man. Well the last two nights I've been using the onboard charging cord connected to a new Motorola USB 5 volt charger. I sat the mod on end wih the charge port facing up, plugged it up and batt was fully charged under 90 min...so far so good!

Yeah. I'm doing an exchange with VaporDNA, but they don't have them in stock right now.
