Parallel Staged Clapton?

Just curious if it is worth trying to make a parallel staged Clapton. Basically a parallel build using kanthal and nichrome to wrap a core wire. Something like 26g Kanthal core with a parallel wrap using 30g n80 and 30g Ka1. Is it worth a try or is it a dumb idea?

No, I've done it. Not as good a Vape as a fused Clapton w a single strand as a staged heating coil.
You can also do a staggered fused Clapton this way. Tough build and pretty low depending on gauge and type of wire though.

N80 core, Clapton with kanthal, unwrap and stagger with n80?

Sure. I like it with a staged heating coil wrap of 24 between the other.

Nah - ended up throwing together a fused Clapton and paralleling it instead, That thing splattered and popped so much I had to replace it, too.

Good lord thats hideous. Cant do anything but get better from here. I enjoyed a helix and clapton parallel build for staged heating.
