Problems with a new vtc mini

Ive recently purchased a new vtc mini and im having trouble getting the nickel coil to work. After i screwed it in and juiced it up it still displayed no atomizer when i fired however the titanium coil works like a charm. tightened it and loosened it and still no luck. Any ideas?

I've had a problem, not just with a Ni200 coil, but after changing a tank in general. It wouldn't fire either. The cause was that I'd tightened the tank down too much, due to the tank kind of wobbling on the mod. The wobble seems to be a con of this mod. However, it was working fine, after unscrewing it and screwing it in, but not as tight.

Ive yet to have that problem but could it just be a bad coil head? It worked the 1 time i fired it but then after that nothing

Do you have an Ohm meter (should be in everybody's tool box), you could put the bottom of the tank (w/ coil assembled) on? That could verify your assumption.

I've got one on the way, and that'll be disappointing, if true. In fact: I would have sworn I'd read, in a review, that one of the features of this mod was wobble-free tank mounting.

Maybe I got lucky, but with a Mini Protank 3 mounted on mine with an eGo/510 adapter: No wobble. Threads felt fine.

I have no wobble in mine either, but it doesn't seem to perform as well as ANY of my other TC mods. Battery life is poor by comparison, mod performance is awful too. I have to set the temperature substantially higher (like 80 or 90 degrees) on the VTC to get the same performance as I do on my other mods.

Interesting, because one reason I zeroed-in on this mod was somebody saying it made their tank come alive after a Kanger Mini (IIRC) let them down.

It could just be my mod, but I've essentially stopped using it much as a result.

I loved mine and then started getting all kinds of problems. First, it did not recognize new coils, I could do it manually but did not work as advertised. That was something I could live with and did because I really liked the mod. Then I started getting the atomizer short messages and soon after the no atomizer. Pretty soon it was just randomly shutting off. I gave up and the company I bought it from was gracious enough to exchange it for what I originally wanted, the IPV D2. That should be here tomorrow and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I think you are going to LOVE the D2. It is a fantastic mod (at least mine is). After reading your post, I'm going to try contacting the company where I bought mine and see if there is anything they are willing to do about it. Who did you order it from?

Take the battery and reinstall. Then fire the mod without the tank. Take battery out. Then reinstall the tank

I used a beauty ring from an original subtank to get rid of the wobble whilst using my favourite RDA :)

I noticed, it's the worse with my Triton. However, the only beauty ring I've got, is what we call a "Paulaner muscle" (Paulaner is a beer brewery in Germany). In other words, a beer belly. :)
