Can anyone who owns one of these mods comment on the memory functions. Does it retain your settings after removing the batteries or does it wipe them out like the original IVP3

it retains them
but i hate them
unless there is a way to fire the mod without being on a memory setting

My interest is say memory slot 2 that from the factory may be 30 watts. If I change it to 34.5., I want it to stay at 34.5 after I change batteries. I have the original ivp3 and after changing batts it goes back to the factory setting of 30 watts. I am going to grab another dual battery mod and wanted TC . I like the ivp3 that I have but hate the lack of memory after batt swap and want TC. Heard great things about the LI

That's great news. Theses things are crazy cheap these days. Any other quirks I should know about. I have a Dna200 coming as my premier mod so the LI would be my out n about mod

the on ly thing quirky is the memory

you are always on a memory setting

so say it displays M2 on teh display
and you change the watts
when you press fire button you just reprogrammed M2 to that setting

also to change wattage
you need to press down first
other wise if you press up you cycle through the 5 memory slots

So it sounds like it acts just like the original except it retains memory and has TC for both Ni200 and Ti...

It will retain most of the settings the only one it will not retain and this goes for even switching a tank is
If you upgrade the LI to the newest 200W firmware it will not retain the Joule setting in TC mode if you set it higher than 50J just
a addin to all the above reponse :)

Oh I'm sure. It's a premier custom job not to leave the house. Custom engraved etc so I needed a beat around town mod that's strong enough for daily beatings

TI mode works real good for SS I love it I use it almost as much as my DNA 200's
Very interesting. I'd love to hear more about this. Was under impression that you needed the ss tcr to get ss to work in TC

Whats interesting even though we are off subject is using SS under TI mode can actually have the effect of kinda a setting to have a preheat <--- kinda
sometimes you do not even have to change the temp setting now this is just for the LI and also the D2 but remember its just a curve thats it..
there really is no sophisticated sensors etc :) it works and thats whats gooood

yeah well that didnt go so well
there was still just the tiniest amount of juice in the tank
and i started getting the dry hit taste
so i loved temp to 300f
and fired and still dry hit taste
tried it a few more times and the cotton burned

might work better with pg in my juice so it wicks better
i use max vg
and i really dont think the wicking of the crown coils can truly keep up with max vg in TC

I hate the memory function on my IPV mini. I love everything else about it. I'm glad they didn't incorporate into the D2.
