So I recently brought a Lotus LE80. Nice mod. Supposedly 180 watts, but it's been tested to only do 120 tops on a good day. Still more than enough power for me and that's at .2 ohms max. I brought ModWorx batteries with it. They are doing fine, but I feel I can do better. I want decent amperage because I only hit 120 tops (don't even go that high), but I want more mah. Which batteries are 25% amperage 75% mah?

Good stuff. After listening to reviewers and punching numbers in a amperage calculator, a good pair of continuous 20a batteries would do wonders. Looks like this is gonna be between the VTC5 and the Samsung 25Rs

So I'm looking at getting the Sammy. Some of the sites you've posted have them at $6. That right? Local shop go for double or triple and you don't know if they're legit

If the Mod truly does 180W which I doubt you would need to have 30Amp continuous batteries.. I sometimes wonder
if people are really thinking before they respond we now have fucking vendors telling people what to buy..
Anyway now that the Sony VTC4's and VTC5's are back around from very reputable dealers I would highly suggest getting the best batteries
if you look at the datasheet for the mod it will tell you.. The only reason people suggest the 25R's or HE2's or anything else for Highend mods is because the Sonys were not availabe.. I hope this helps

hes a vendor, who specializes in the subject matter, and who has earned the respect on the subject form many members here

but to the ?
25rs and lg hg2 are fine if your using .3 and above builds and not really going over 100 watts, but if you want to run high amp pulling builds and use much more then 100 watts you should be running vtc 4s

Why the hell are you suggesting batteries as a vendor? Is that not a double edge sword best not swallowed? Hmm?

You can feel free to buy them wherever you want, it's not like I'm suggesting something you have to buy from us or something we manufacture, so I fail to see the double edged sword. We do a ridiculous amount of battery testing all day long on all the newest batteries and many here value my input given the knowledge gained from that testing and experience picking the best battery for a given application. Judging from the number of post likes and PMs I get thanking me for helping out the forum I'm pretty sure I'm providing value here. So I don't really understand why you wouldn't want to see my input?

actually he is correct base don the OPs situation who was looking for more mah
and he said 120 watts is too much for him
so a 20amp battery will do fine for the OP's needs and the 25r and hg2 provide more mah over the vtc4

You should always suggest the batteries for what the Mod could be used for not the limit of your current use! that changes!

Your post didn't say my answer to the post was wrong, you said vendors shouldn't be allowed to suggest batteries and implied that I was trying to mislead, so I was responding to that - look at what I quoted from you. If you had simply said my answer to the post was wrong then that's totally different - I wouldn't feel the need to defend my posting from that, that's the whole reason this is a discussion board so people can discuss it.

All I can do is answer the question that's being asked. The OP said that even though it's a "180W" mod he knows that in actuality it tops out at 120W (the mod does at max setting, not him setting it lower than max). For that set of circumstances, the 25R is my suggestion and even the HG2 might be better depending on how high you set it. If the information he posted on the mod is wrong and it does go much higher than 120W or there's question about that, then you're totally right and the VTC4 or one of the other 30A batteries like VTC3 or LG HB2 should probably be used.
