What could I use to add a salty taste, without actually using salt (NaCl)?

Exactly.
I though about it after tasting banana & salty caramel e-liquid, but I don't know how to reproduce it.
Might take some testing cause all the Banana flavoring brands are so different.
Or, if you've got a favorite already, use that.
I kinda like TFA Banana Cream myself.

Got TFA and FA caramel, I'm just looking for the salty note, I suppose they use some kind of chemical which is more concentrated then salt and doesn't crystalize, I just don't know what it is.
