I keep it sort of organic. Not the best, but having purged some dust-collectors, I don't have a ton of shit so it works and everything is easy to access. Recently gave away my old Zmaxes and a nemmy clone. I also gave away 6 batteries... ...vtc4's and 25r's. The juice you see there is just what I have on deck. There's much, much more on a bookshelf opposite to this station.
In the corner.... ....ON TOP: Meters/coil master set/specialty wires
TOP DRAWER: prepped cotton/syringes/screws/o-rings/battery wraps/alcohol towlettes/little blue screwdrivers.
MIDDLE DRAWER: a smattering of various building tools/15-30ft spools of wire/drill bits/magnets/noalax.
BOTTOM DRAWER: big spools of wire. I'm thinking about buying another drawer set just like this for holding wire. One for nickel/nicrome, one for kanthal, and one for others. I can use the bottom drawer for drip tips and mod accessories. I suppose I could also just use the last drawer for tubes of custom-wound wires.
On the side you have scissors for cutting cotton and two bottles of 50% isopropyl for cleaning mods. Behind it are some shitty CVS organic makeup pads (I've only ever used them for cleaning,) awesome Puff "M" pads, and two big ass Dollar Tree microfiber cloths (would highly recommend the shiny, light-blue ones over in hardware.)
I just got this acrylic atty stand by
HDZConcepts. It rules. Cheap, cool-looking, and SOLID. They've got all kinds of clean-lookin organizers that I'm going to be looking into. I'm planning on expanding this station real soon.
