I had a chance to try a Banana/Blueberry juice this week.

But, I couldn't taste the Blueberry at all. As a matter for fact, it tasted as if I were eating Banana Pudding. While the other guy swears all he could taste, was the Blueberry.

Your thoughts?

That's really odd. They're totally different flavors. I don't really have any guesses as to why you're tasting such different things though.

That's interesting. I made a DIY juice, that contains FA Cinnamon. Even after adding an additional 1% flavor, I still can't taste the Cinnamon.

Might be like my Strawberry.
It creeps up on you after a few weeks ;)

Week 1, I had nothing but graham crust and marshmallow. Week 4 the strawberry is coming on like gang busters. And I don't know where the marshmellow went :/

Yeah, I hear you. I haven't touched that juice for several days now, giving it some more steeping time. I might throw it in my heated ultrasonic cleaner, to speed it up.
If nothing else works, I have TFA Cinnamon Red on its way.

Could it be your tanks? I'm assuming you each vaped the same juice but in your own tanks. Maybe there's a difference there that is causing you to have such different experiences.

I'm using the Goliath V2, currently with the second replacement coil head. I might change it to the RBA this weekend, and see how that'll work.

People's taste buds vary drastically. That's why "flavor is subjective" is used so frequently when it comes to this stuff. Like for me, cinnamon in vapes come across very strongly. A mere drop of it smacks me in the face while others may not even notice it's there. It also depends on the brand of flavoring. There are so many factors

Sorry so long getting back. I didn't get a notification :/

But no, it's not the tank. I used his tank and mod. I just stuck a clean tip on it.

My pallete is pretty much hosed after 40 years of smoking I figure. I'm still trying to figure out why GOC is the rage here within this forum. It's like "meh" to me.

I understand that. I use marshmellow as a sweetener. And rarely put more than 2 drops per 30ml. Even when it's a tart mix. I still taste the marshmellow above everything.

I do love the way it taste. I just can't handle large doses of it.

LOL. My taste buds are screwed too. I smoked about 30 years and have been vaping a month or so now. No ciggies. I like custard - velvet cloud vanilla custard is good - though I stop tasting it after a few hits. It gets sort of bland. I have to change things up fairly often. I find it interesting also how the same juice tastes different over time. I bought some Adirondack Placid. Tasted good in the store but when I put it in my sub ohm tank at home it was entirely too much. Too tart and limey. I put it away for awhile and just went back to it. Same tank, but the few weeks it's been on my shelf must've mellowed it a bit, even though it shouldn't have needed steeping. Now I taste more pear, less lime, and the honeysuckle is much less perfumey.
Edited for typos...

Sense of smell is probably impaired too. (Mine. That is...)

Try your custard with some Graham crust. :)

My sense of smell is pretty much recovered since I stopped smoking. But Graham crust was always a fall back choice when things went south on my taste buds.

I'm yanking on a tank with extra Graham crust now.

Dammit! LOL. I just ordered from BCV, and did not order graham. I looked at it....
Next time.

If you've got Cheese Cake Graham Crust. That works well too. 3% works for me, especially with my custards.

Unfortunately, I do not. Ahh well, that gives me something to look at next time. I ordered a couple strawberries, dulce de leche, custard, cotton candy... can't remember the rest off the top of my head. Oh yeah-Joy was one. I plan to try the strawberry/joy recipe from a DIY thread. I guess I'll just rotate away from the custard when I stop tasting it for now.

HIC strawberry cotton candy sounds wonderful.

Anything strawberry is wonderful :)

Except this one I've been vaping for a week now. It went from getting sweeter, to tasting like I was eating the vine. Hence, the Graham crust lol

I have been eating actual cheesecake today. With a sugar cookie crust, though. Pretty good, but majorly unhealthy.

I can't seem to get away from Strawberry anything. I love it and it's usually the primary in my favorite juices. If everyone's taste wasn't so different then we wouldn't need all the different flavorings available. The blueberry that I have tried is pretty strong and a little goes a long way so it surprises me that it doesn't jump out at you.

I know what you mean. I just bought some Preferred Vapes 'Murrica. Blueberry, Strawberry and Cake. Interestingly, I didn't taste the Blueberry at the shop. I'll find out soon how it does in my tank soon. I have some TFA blueberry extra, and haven't really cared for it, but I have 5 ml steeping right now at about 2% standalone. I'll be trying it again soon to see if that's a good % for me. I've heard it described as blueberry muffin and there does seem to be something different about it.

I have the same TFA blueberry extra and haven't really experimented with the percentage for standalone but will be interested to know how it turns out.

I mix it at 3% and even that's a bit much. I tried 5 as a stand alone.

And the Bilberry? OMG at .25% I gag. Both have to sit for weeks within a mix for me to vape. :(
