Big Fancy Birthday Box Mod

Hello all.

I have a birthday coming up early next month (PM me for my address where gifts can be sent ) and I think I want a big, powerful box mod for home use. After researching, I think I want a Snow Wolf 200 TC. Reletively speaking, I prefer medium to lower wattage, around 35-60 watts but have been messing around with a friends Istick 100 watt / smok tank and kinda like it. I had a crown tank for a few days and for some reason felt like it was over kill but 75 watts on my friends set up was actually enjoyable. I have also been exploring temp control on my Kanger plus / IPV D2 and don't feel like I'm getting the best results. The vape is cool as expected but the flavor is very muted.

So, does anyone own a Snow Wolf 200 watt TC? What do you like / hate about it? What would be a good tank to pair it with? Right now I'm considering the Herkulas or Starre tank but am open to any suggestions. Like I said, this will be a nightstand box so size/weight are not an issue. Also, since this is a birthday present, the price tag isn't as big a deal either but don't want to go crazy. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Got a link? I searched the site but didn't see anything by that name. Google brought up a few different things, is it the hell hound or the hells gate? I should add, I would like a regulated device, I don't think I'm ready for mech mods yet.

Yeah I'm an idiot. I thought it was actually called the hell mod, I missed the "as" part. Those are very nice. Something else to consider, thanks for the link @BigNasty and @BadLuckAndTrouble for clearing that up for me.

Tax returns and bdays are the only time I can ever really buy myself something "nice". Since my bday is in December, it gets lumped in with Christmas. Ah the joys of being a family man.

If I do end up going with the snow wolf, is there really that big of a difference between the 1.5 and 2.0?

Later she asked me if I was sure that's what I wanted and I replied in the affirmative. She was not going to hold me to it and decided to wait before ordering anything. According to her, I would come to the forums, start asking questions then change my mind. I scoffed at her assumption. Now I'm reading this thread here..

The Hohm Wrecker is nice. I can't do the gender symbols that it's covered in though lol. I have no idea what in the fuck they were thinking there. You could rock the Longhorns Burnt Orange though

Yeah and that shakey looking text is just hideous. Especially since it's practically a billboard. This might be one of my few hobbies where I take looks into serious consideration.

I wonder what that fourth button at the top of the Hohm Wrecker is for. All reviews of it have been positive and its milled out of a solid block I've read so I imagine it could take a beating.

its the first one I've seen like it. And that's probably the reason right there. As fast as this industry moves, there really isn't much room for innovation so they squeeze the features in where they can. I'm still waiting on a mod that lets me go online. Can you imagine reading this forum from your mod while vaping? Read that slow, your head just might explode.

It's amazing and IMO there is nothing like it. It's my all day vape and I burn through it. I actually have "My Man" on the way and I'm really looking forward to trying it.

Well after spending a while reading and watching reviews, I'm now very interested in the Sigelei 150 watt TC. From what I read, the snow wolf has had its fair share of issues and the customer service is supposedly terrible. I've never owned a Sigelei but know a few people who do and everyone seems to love them, mainly the original 100 & 150 watt non TC models. I'd love to take a look at them side by side but can't find any where in the DC / MD / VA / PA area that sells either of them. In fact, I'm yet to go to a shop with a wide variety of mods to choose from. Every shop I go to seems to have the same stuff; Kanger Subox kits, joytech evic's and random mech mods I know nothing about.

At first I thought they were ugly as sin. A guy in my AutoCAD class has one and after vaping on it for 45 min or so I found it a very enjoyable vape and comfortable in the hand. He had an authentic Velocity on top of it with dual claptons. Idk how the TC works on it though.

Agreed on the looks but its growing on me. Like I said, I'd really like to be able to get my hands on one but its proving to be tough. Maybe I should start my own Youtube channel...
