What type of lowly piece of shit would condemn a man for providing healthy meat for his family in the safest way possible.

Enjoy that steak.
Know that somebody pinned a cow down and drove a pneumatic stake through its brain so that you dont have any blood on your own self righteous hands, and can eat it with your high morality conscious. Prick.

I just don't understand why anyone would care if somebody hunts from their car. If you hunt, and actually bag something, you are a hunter. If you dress up like a hunter and carry a rifle but don't actually go out with the intention of bagging anything, then you're a poser. Who gives a shit about the rest? I mean is everything just a reason to argue????

And some are just sheltered.

Ive hunted my whole life, and it has nothing to do with living in a mansion and wearing camo. It has to do with having fun with your buddies and bagging meat.

You eat proccessed foods daily that are harvested in a way less humane fashion than being shot from a vehicle.

I don't really see how shooting animals would be considered fun..

By the way I killed this hog on the ground from 20 yards but I'm definitely a poser that's why my freezer has 5 deer and 2 hogs in it right now while you're buying meat at the grocery store not knowing what condition the animal you're eating was in when it died

Have you been to the farm and laid eyes on the animal or just going off what the pack says?

Certified Kosher means the animal has been killed in a humane way...
Yeah. With a knock gun lol. Basically a tube you load a .22 or .25 caliber blank in and it pushes a metal rod out of the other end when you pull a plunger or hit it with a hammer. Their still pinned in an electrical shoot.

That sounds so much more humane than a skillful shot into the brain stem.

It kills them instantly, rather than a drunk hunter who misses and wounds them...

Its far from instant lol. Youve aparently never knocked an animal before.

After you lodge a steel spike into their brain you have to jerk it back and forth creating catostophic brain damage just to get it out. Then a huge thick stream of blood projects from their forehead while they moo or squeal until they succumb to death. Ive seen them knocked 2 or 3 times before they die. Far from an exact science.

You really think that the people working blood barns are paid enough to give a fuck about your kosher sticker? Ha.

I am sure there are some places which don't abide by Kosher standards, but that's why we have regulations...

Lol. Youre aparently not understanding.
I worked for producers livestock company. The largest cattle and goat auction/ slaughter house owners in the US (at the time anyway)

They are aware of inspection weeks prior, and generally only then care.

Why said anything about bigger being better? I buy from small, family owned farms, mostly bison and ostrich...

And thats all and well, but youre the minority in that aspect. If anyone, you should see the benefit of harvesting wild game over buying from manufacturers.

Support youre local hunters. They bring revenue to a vast number of local business and not just wal mart.

I'm all for hunting, but tracking and hunting, with a bow or rifle. Using high tech gear, scents, lures, vehicles, blinds, removes the hunting aspect...

What you're referring to is called spot and stalk hunting and its not possible on the terrain I hunt I don't use hi tech gear I hunt in stationary positions whether it be a tree on the ground or in my old beater truck it makes no difference

Youre romanticizing hunting. That is just truly not the way its done in todays day and age.

First off, property is a big issue. Unless your in the northern mid-west there just isnt enough open public property to facilitate this. Tresspasing is a huge no no here, and often times youll come to a property border before actually closing in on prey.

There isnt the free roaming game nowadays that there use to be, most are bedded down and have an area of land they know well and travel on. It is just common sense to spot the signs and wait for them to recross their earlier path.

Cost is a huge factor as well. Unless you can drop the 5k plus per gun to hunt on a 10k acre property with 15ft fence, spot and stalk is damn near impossible.

It sure as hell isn't considered hunting, so many people get wrapped up in that. "I went hunting today" yep, sure you did. You sit in a tree and lured animals with corn, you aren't a hunter, Indians were hunters. I'm all for population control but please stop with "I hunt".

You're right i have but I never remember having an elitest son of a bitch attitude and tell people "I live that lifestyle" you hunt from a vehicle so by that merit every time I grab a burger at a fast food joint I'm "hunting", cause I know its gonna be there and I'm gonna get it.

Fine, I sit in the bed of a truck with some friends and knock back cold beer while waiting for a poor defensless little furry animal to walk back to its home so I can shoot it in the lungs. Make you feel any better? ;)

And FYI, indians introduced baited hunting to settlers, so they must have found some merit in it.

Albeit for bear and racoon and not particularly deer, but its adaptable.

Everybody needs food to live. If you're putting food in yours or your family's stomach, who cares how you catch your food?

I dont understand why everyone needs to push their own perspective onto others...what comes of it? No one is going to change how people have grown up and accepted what their hobbys and definition of fun is.
I myself was raised in northern NY, Granville, NY to be direct. My father was a avid hunter and gun specialist. I was raised around firearms and taught how to use them and shown the responsibility involved with carrying them. Its a old sport and something people do to stay in touch with how people survived before the industrial revolution changed everything. You may look down on hunting or why people invest time into it but they are prepared for the worst case scenario due to what they do. What would you do if something like civil unrest or mass panic happened? Most people that hunt have their own land or remote area and can get their own food, its not a everyday thought but its a skill that most choose not to have, which I think is laughable TBH.

I love guns and collect them, I havent went hunting since I was a young teen but I do make sure all my gear is in perfect working order and love to shoot targets. How you live and what you do is none of our business, but dont shove how you think things should be down peoples throats because the ones doing that seem to be the ones that are bullshitting themselves the most and trying to make people that love what they do feel bad about what they love....Its just uncalled for.

I believe that some people have a very deep seated need to put others down in order to feel better about themselves, and will look for anything to criticize. Then they get on the internet and join forums and reply to threads that really don't require their negative input, and they find people to target and follow those people around, criticizing everything that they say. I guess I am an easy target that way, because I have found a forum where people are willing to help and sometimes you have to put your business out there in order to receive that help. That gives people a reason to judge and criticize. I just don't care anymore. I've met and argued with many assholes on internet forum. I've finally realized that arguing with assholes makes me an asshole, and stooping to their level actually makes me worse than them. I'm tired of being made an asshole by stooping to such low levels, and I'm tired of arguing with people that refuse to control themselves. I'm tired of arguing with anybody period, but especially those that won't control themselves and have to pick and antagonize to try to start an argument just to entertain and feel better about their shitty little selves. I refuse to do it anymore. Let people say what they want, they're only proving their own lack of maturity and self control.

I have no ambition to be any better or worse than anybody else. I don't compare myself to others, so I don't care who is better. Competition is barbaric to me. I only want to be better than my former self. Not arguing with someone doesn't make me better than them. It is only an attempt to be better than I was.

I myself have been guilty of some of these things but I am going to try my very hardest not to be like that anymore.

That'll work here. You just have to remove the wheels before hunting out of it :D

Health hasn't allowed me to hunt since before vaping. Finally got the handicapped crossbow permit this year and took another down turn that wasted October.
I remember threads like this never being allowed to stand on that other forum. Must be an anti-hunter at the lead.

I always figured it would be OK if you selected your flavorings right.

Its a 22LR Replica I bought from craigslist, Norinco I believe...its not the real thing...though they re pretty similar in actual round size. I was going to pick up a STG-44 and MP40 replica in 22lr also, ATI is a big promoter in the area and the shops are flooded with their firearms here.

ATI is a importer and now manufacture their own guns...They have a nice grip on my area, not many places seem to have access to them or havent even heard of them. I also have a GSG, the 5PK is pictured above...Its one of my favorites, I must of dumped atleast 1400 into that one gun and 13 months waiting on papers...
SBR and Surpressor Form 1 and 4's arent fun to wait for...
It is one of, if not the most fun gun that I own. Cant use it all day any barely break $30, where s with the same amount of money I could use one of my other larger caliber guns for less then an hour...
