In what ways is a tube mech mod better/worse than a box mod? what makes a tube mech mod better than another one? how can you tell how low of a build you can go on your tube mod? i'm assuming it mainly depends on your battery. how can you keep your tube mod from overheating on a subohm build? any recommended tube mods for around or under $50? whats a good hybrid mod for cheap? any extra information would be helpful, trying to learn as much as I can. especially since relatively im new to it.

tube mods have no chip to break or destroy, and so they are alot more rugged...thye can be dropped in a lake fished out taken apart dried and a new battery put in and away you go....a regulated mod can't take that kind of rough treatment....mech mods are easy to clean take apart and even fix using things you can find in a good hardware store...the down size is you have to build your coils to the watts you want to vape....your wattage is limited....with a mech mod you have to learn how to build an atty correctly which most people nowdays can't....a cheap and good mech mod is the Natural, by smok....it is rugged and preforms well, and is cheap about 50 bucks....there are tube mods that havebeen designed to be "competition" mods for cloud chasing they are built heavier with good ventilation and buttons that don't heat up so fast, most mech mods handel sub ohming OK,but super sub ohming say below .2-.3 I'd be looking at a competition mod.

Absolutely. Tubes are build dependent big time.
I agree ...the right build is very dependable in a mech...that said I have this RDA set-up on my 26650 BFM mech I vape in rotation with my VW mods..

It's dual parallel 26g kanthel ...5 wraps on a 3mm bit at .21 ohms in the Dark Horse RDA... Good clouds/flavor too

You should try wrapping a dual parallel with 26g Anarchist wire, or royal wire. It hits like a truck.
