Hello All,

VU is the second vaping forum I've joined after lurking for months. I'm on more than one vaping forum so that I maximize my efforts in becoming very knowledgeable and capable in vaping related technologies, by being engaged in the community...and READING a ton. I firmly believe that the FDA and Big Tobacco are going to do their best to kill vaping. That is why I am becoming very active in vaping communities.

I'm an ex pack a day or better smoker, and bought my first vaping supplies on Sept 7th, 2015.

Currently have Sigelei 75W & 150W box mods (not vaping TC yet), with 4 - Aspire Atlantis II, 1 - Triton v1, and 1 - Mako Shorty RDA. I have about 100 - 30ml store bought e-liquids, and TEN - 250ml, 100MG of Nude Nicotine Armor. I'll be going in to DIY in the future...stocking up right now.

I am pretty active on Twitter and in email with messages to political office holders regarding vaping taxation and regulations. I live in Chicago and have bought quite a bit of juice from B&M retail establishments within 35 mile radius. I need to visit more shops ASAP, b/c the City of Chicago is instituting a 95 cent per ml tax on all e-liquids.

It seems that one party is making sure taxes continue to be collected on something which has nothing to do with tobacco....but of course the FDA is pushing their agenda, and labeling it as such. They need to continue to keep their iron fist hanging over everyone's life - as if they know better than the populace.

I think big tobacco is going to drive a lot of us underground, hence my investment in raw nicotine. They are going to kill an industry that would have provided millions in tax revenues and saved millions of lives had they not attacked it. What they should have done is to pass a law that states that anyone born after a given date NOT be able to smoke cigarettes, but is allowed to purchase vape products.

Was even thinking of going in on a distributorship, but now I'm not so sure, and I really need the opportunity to get back in to the workforce. I need to come up with the money to go in to business, and would stay out of Cook County where Chicago is located but I don't know if that would save me with the Deeming Regs. I use to do system administration and was retraining...and had hoped that this might be it. I still might do it. Waiting and watching and trying to come up with funds before end of 1st Qtr of 2016.

Again. J.O.B.S. One party seems averse to creating any at any costs.
