Sigelei screen flicker

Hey guys I just got a sigelei mini 30w off my buddy, no visible damage etc. I noticed the display doesn't turn off. After about 30 seconds when it SHOULD go off, it flickers on/off continuously. It eventually kills the battery after like 3-4 hours. In order to conserve the battery I have to turn the entire thing off which is pretty inconvenient. Tried using different tanks (currently using kanger sub tank mini) and replacing batteries. Anyone else run into this issue? Tried checking across the interwebs but couldn't find anything

From what I have read, it is the button shorting out the screen. If you rattle the button does it cause it to happen more?
Since there is a short in the circuitry I would see about changing devices just to be on the safe side.

My brothers Sig did the exact same thing...he got tired of trying to figure out why it would flicker and ordered the 75w IPVD2 as a replacement for saftey's sake...I understand he threw the Sig in the garbage after getting the D2.. Lol

The D2 is so much better, and affordable.
