Hi.

Im new to vaping, and have never smoked in my life. I find vaping interesting, and i would like to start (with no nicotine, just doing it for the flavour/smell/clouds...).

After some research i think i have found something decent to start with. I bought a evic VTC Mini 60W kit from vapenw.com, along with some e-juice. I have spent some time reading about making my own ejuice, so i ordered 500ml PG and 500ml VG, and of course some flavours.

So, my question is; do i need anything more? Should i buy a new tank right away, or is the stock one good enough? How often do coils need to be replaced? And when i buy new coils, what types do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Stephan, Norway.

Replace the coils when you feel they aren't preforming the way they should be. It's a solid set up. I would just rock that before making anymore investments.

Do the firmware update (V.2.0), and you'll have a 75W mod. In addition, it will have TC for SS (stainless steel) coils. The update is quick and easy. You can find videos on the tube, that'll show you how. Only thing that isn't mentioned, the mod has to be powered on, when you plug it into your computer's USB.
Since you're planning on making your own juice, you might want to get a RDA, for sampling your creations, and you don't have to switch your tank's coils all the time. With a RDA, depending on the juice, you might just have to change the wick, maybe a dry burn before putting in the new wick.
