Now the Reulaux RX 200 looks like a very viable contender. Looks like I might need to finally invest in a 4 bay charger to keep up with that PITA 3 batt configuration...

Oh and I'm sure that Evolv doesn't want to pay Apple to get the eScribe software ported over. I guess we could all run Parallels, but I'd rather not deal with Windows at all.

Here's hoping the Koopor Plus works out well. The Reulaux RX 200 looks interesting, especially for $100 less than the DNA 200 version but, we don't know anything about the Wismec chip yet. I'll certainly be interested in seeing how it all shakes out.

I agree that it's unlikely we will see escribe software on the Mac although we can hope. My old windows laptop that was my last ditch back up computer, finally died and I'm not about to invest in windows again...too many bad memories LOL.

You should see if ecig.com still has the Efest LUC Blu6 charger for about $40. I got one and love it. Can charge six at .5 amps, 4 at 1 amp, and two at 2 amps. The best part is the Bluetooth app. You can monitor each bay and also click into it and change the charging rate. If it had push notifications for when your batteries are done, that would really be the only thing it lacks. It's super nice to be able to monitor everything from your phone. Totally worth it in my opinion.

No shit. I actually had a 25% off coupon from them. When I ordered the Wrecker, they emailed and called me the next morning to apologize that they had just finished switching warehouses, and orders would be delayed. Great customer service. They gave me the coupon for the delay, and it shipped same day still.

Really, I don't need the fancy display and all, but the app, and charging speeds sold me. Especially the app. I can leave the room and keep an eye on my batteries. It's a wise buy if you're in the market for a charger.

Good to know. I'd be moving up from a Nitecore i2, so it would be a VAST improvement for me. More space, faster charging, and the bonus of the app for monitoring all sound like a great deal to me.

I'll have to grab six more batts for the RX200 of i decide to get it. Wonder if those brown LG HG2's would fit. 9000mah?! That's a couple day's worth of vape for me!

There are many viable contenders. Here is a great one ...

http://advanced-vapors.myshopify.co...ic-high-end-mods/products/av-box-mod-120-watt

This mod was 300 dollars when it came out. The chiop works well ... it is a potentiometer which only adjusts voltage but it works like a charm with any RDA or sub ohm tank.

I also ordered a Tesla 2 from gearbest

http://www.gearbest.com/other-mods/pp_261180.html

It works with every tank I have flawlessly. For under 30 dollars.

So really we are not talking about contenders - just two box mods neither of which are the latest innovations. That said I would opt for whatever of the two - SnowWolf or HexOhm that I could find on sale.

Just ordered the same charger and batts as you this morning. AND VapeNW just updated their page saying that the RX200 should be to them by 11/27 or 11/30!!!! Could be vaping that sexy set up by Friday!

Just wanted to comment on the Efest Luc6 Blu charger. First time I've ever been able to charge a set of batteries before I drain a set! This thing is awesome and the app makes monitoring the batts soooo convenient!

I was looking at the snow wolf, ipv3 li and the sigelei fuchai. I am not heavy into TC just yet I have a sigelei 75w that I am using for some TC right now but was really want the better battery life and the option for higher wattage if I wanted to try it. I ended up getting a snow wolf v1.5 on a black friday sale for $70 and some change with free shipping. Should be here tomorrow. I really like the look of the snow wolf and cant wait to try it out.
That Hohm wrecker looks pretty cool might have to think about one of those or a DNA 200 if I get more into the temp control.

Yeah, its pretty fucking awesome. I think I've only charged over .5 amps once, too. It was awesome to throw six batteries on when i got my Reuleaux. I haven't charged six at once prior, and it didn't even get warm. Such an upgrade to my i4, and the app is just incredible. I just want push notifications. If it would alert me with a tone when batteries were finished, thats about all that could be improved.

@gtrpickr i haven't vaped a Snow Wolf, but i know someone who likes his V1 a lot, though it did have to go in for service. Asmodus took good care of him, though. It was a random fault, could've happened with any device. The V1.5 added resistance lock i believe. They're definitely really nice looking boxes, and it seems they perform well. Id vape and enjoy the Snow Wolf for a bit, see how much you get into TC, and just get a DNA 200 if you like TC enough. Hohm wrecker is really nice, and they're on a crazy sale right now. I have two DNA 200's now, and they really do kick ass. All subjective, though. Enjoy man!

So something interesting just happened.
I've been waiting on some SS 316L wire from Slowtech for a few weeks now. Finally arrive today, so I spun up some 28g/32g claptons. Ohms out to .15. Threw it on the ol' Hohm Wreck in wattage mode. Nicey nice! Just out of curiosity, I put it in temp mode. I turned it way down the same way you would to use Ti in Ni mode and got nothing. Oh well, didn't expect it to work anyway. Then curiosity got the better of me and I jacked it up to 600 degrees.

IT FUCKING WORKED.

I can't get s dry hit for the life of me! This mod is fucking amazing!!!

Awesome! I keep delaying ordering 316L, was gonna on Black Friday, but Lightning Vapes didn't have it. Sounds like I need to get some. I hate Nickel with a passion. Lol. It's evil. I do much better twisting it with Kanthal.

What's a good gauge to get for SS 316L?

I wasn't sure myself TBC so I ordered 24, 26, and 28ga from FT. I figured three 10m spools for under $8, I couldn't go wrong. So far I've only tried the 26ga on the Billow V2 dual coil RTA.

Cheers,
Steve

I ordered 28g and 32g for claptons, but I also order 24g for when I'm feeling lazy and want to throw a quick build in. Got mine from FT and it wasn't too bad.
