Just pulled the plug in and ordered the new Vapor Shark. It's on backorder until Tuesday, but it's all gravy.
Pretty excited for this thing. Replaceable 18650, cheaper than a hana mini = no brainer. :):):)

So, if I built a 1.4ohm, on a Russian91, what would be a good wattage/voltage setting?
Looking for something to mimic my Nemesis setup.

With your Nemesis a VTC4 at 4 volts will produce 11.4 watts with a 1.4 ohm coil ... a VTC4 at 3.7 volts will produce 9.8 watts with a 1.4 ohm coil.

Cool, this is the basic info I was looking for, I will likely try the rDNA at 12ish watts when I get it and see how that is.

thanx

man I want one so bad but I'm moving this weekend and need to save every dime.. I've been eyeing the sigelei 50watt as well.. or I'm going to wait until the next affordable dual 18650 box mod.. I don't think I need more than 30watts to be honest

I've had my rDNA for over a week now and this thing rocks. Well designed and built like a lil tank :)

I'm in the exact same boat my friend. It's usually not a problem at all for me to buying something at this cost, but with the moving I'm doing now, it's taking every single penny from my pocket. I just happen to want this mod really bad at the time I can't get it. Go figure!

Good luck with the move! I'm still unpacking things and its been 3 full days lol.. lots of crap to put away.. Nothing funnier than my gf bringing in a box that says 'vape gear' - thats when you start to realize all the stuff you really have and really don't need some new mod when I have plenty of others to tie me over for the time being. I will probably get a nice box mod in the next couple months when funds free up a bit more.

I have the regular vaporshark dna30 with a sharkskin and it's for sure my favorite regulated mod I own. It's my go to mod, day in and day out. If I'm at the shop or at home I use a mech, but the rest of the time I know I can always grab my shark and it'll never fail me. The battery is the only thing I can fault it for but I use my Evic Supreme while the shark is charging.

Actually you usually go by a Full Battery, so 4.2v @1.4ohms = 12.6watts / 3amps

I would think between 11 and 12 watts would be right for a 1.4 ohm coil. Everyone's sweet spot is subjective.

Sooo anyone had the 510 pin on their rDNA get stuck??? I just did. First use with my Infinite Magma. Went to put on another topper and it would not fire. Same with another. Looked at the 510 pin and it was stuck down. Had to go into the other compartment and pop it back up.

This has been mentioned before. If it is pressed down to it's extreme it may stick. As you stated, go in through the battery compartment and push it back up.
