How to clean coils?

Please help. I'm about to do my first rewick and clean coils.
I have the isubG.

How much wick?
How do I clean the coil?
I will build new coils when my stock arrives but desperate now

Ehhh unless you know how to take the coil head apart and rebuild a new coil you are probably SOL. I have never successfully been able to do it without it looking like garbage. So, hopefully someone else who has done this can chime in.

If you've never built before, I'd discourage you from starting on rebuilding a stock coil. It's challenging, and typically not worth it. I'm sure there are tons of cats here that would disagree the latter, but not the former. Unless the isub coil heads come apart leaving the coil intact...

Are there no places locally to pick up coils? Or is $ the issue?

All I've seen, the coil comes out intact. Money is always an issue, lol but this is morr for my satisfaction

Soon you'll have every gauge wire you can get in both kanthal and nichrome. And coil jig sets. And new drill bits (NOT to be used for drilling). And fishing swivels. And more RDAs. And a butane torch. And...

Oh, don't forget the ohm meter. Very important.
