Does FA Apricot with TFA Kentucky Bourbon sound like a winner, really just need sweetness

I am working on something and need a little sweetness. Do you think 0.5% FA Apricot would add sweetness without much apricot flavor and if that combo would work? I searched the net and found some bourbon and apricot fruit combos but no apricot bourbons like apricot brandy.

Thanks

I am going to try but have to finish my first tester to see how it steeps. It isn't bad but needs SOMEthing.

Maybe a touch of TFA Brown Sugar as sweetener.
I am adding that in my next version. I don't know why I didn't think of that for the first one. I love that stuff.

@Huckleberried I have a really good bourbon rig. I was trying to stay away from that. That is a really good suggestion and does work.

The next version will be different. This one still needs steep time and I changed other ingredients on the next. I replaced Vanilla Swirl with Sweet Cream to see the difference.

Brown sugar sounds good. Sometimes a touch/balance of vanilla & caramel can do the trick to bourban/whiskey/rums. Also a touch of custard as well or oakwood. I'm still new, but that's how I have been playing in my sandbox.

If you want sweetness without flavor use a few drops of Ethyl Maltiol.

I have vanilla and Caramel in there. We are on the same track.

@Zamazam I have sweetner, not that one, but try not to use it. I did use marshmallow in the last one but removed in the second due to changes.

I make a peach Bourbon that I like. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but in case you're interested here it is:

4% TFA juicy peach
3% FA white peach
1% FA Honey
2% TFA Kentucky Bourbon

Well that looks like for more ingredients to add to the list.

It's not but that does look good. I don't have honey but I am sure I could sub something. Thanks
