I was a little shocked to learn that a friend and former co-worker didn`t have running water and plumbing in his home untill the mid 1970`s !
I tell you, the thought crossed my mind when posting; so did my friends parents and now him as well..My grand parents had an out house till the early 70s and they had money go figure.

I was recently researching Seattle`s Space Needle for possible thing to do for vacation (brother in Oregon too), and didn`t know that the Space Needle was built for the Worlds Fair.
