Now I'm pissed. I tracked my package to my local post office. It arrived early yesterday morning. They do not deliver to us, we have a runner go pick up three times a day. When he went to get the mail this morning, I gave him the tracking number to ask about. The post office went on a mad scramble and could not find it. A supervisor was on the phone with them regarding a different matter, and they told him to tell me that our runner picked it up yesterday. Which is bullshit. He knows me very well and would have given it straight to me. So, at lunch, I drove over there to tell them in person that my guy did not pick it up. All they could say in response was, "it must've gotten put in the wrong hamper. Hopefully whoever got it will send it back."
Not the answer I was looking for. I hate USPS. I had it sent to work because I have problems getting USPS packages at home. I might have expected problems on the overseas leg of its journey. Not this end. Now I have to figure out what recourse I have if it doesn't show up. I was so happy when it scanned in to the PO. That was shortlived.

Yeah, I have issues with my home address. That's why I had it sent to my job. I figured with a human going to them to collect it I would stand a better chance of receiving it. WRONG...
The mail carrier doesn't take it anywhere. They sort it into bins for our courier. They had to have given it to the wrong courier.

I guess I'm lucky as I've had absolutely no issues at all with USPS deliveries the past three years..All vape mail was/is delivered on-time every- time, but I do have a PO Box...its worth the $97 a year for the peace of mind it brings...

sorry for your loss.I am sure it will, might show up.People, for the most part are good and will return things to the right addressee.postal service hire temp help during the holidays and they get what they pay for

I'm not so lucky.I have everything showing up at different houses, people finding dropped packages in their yard and my VA meds all over the block or sitting on the porches of everyones house or just out right taken from inside the postal service, although marked "out for delivery" never shows up.Luckily have some good neighbors and they bring my stuff to me.I have stuff sittin in calif right now for 4 days spinnin wheels.I get my bills right on time though.I can get stuff from east coast in 3 days or teas in 2 days but caly,1-2 weeks.I live in orygun.go figure that one..they could toss it that far to me.I miss my mountains badly.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I too hate the USPS with a burning passion. Last week I had a Snow Wolf Mini sent to me. I checked my tracking on the day it was supposed to be delivered and it was "out for delivery" Around the time my mail is usually delivered I called my wife to ask if it was in the mail. Sure enough, our mail was delivered but no snow wolf. I was furious and called the local PO and raised hell. Around 8:00pm (our mail is usually delivered at 1:00pm) the Snow Wolf magically showed up on my doorstep. Apparently our idiot mailman had just forgot to deliver the box with the rest of our mail. I don't get it, the PO has been doing the same thing for 240 years and still suck at it. This was not an isolated incident, we buy a lot of stuff online and almost always have some sort of issue.

UPS just pulled that "will you sign for it" shit on me for a neighbor.
If it would have been for anyone else I would have told the UPS dude to fucking pound sand and speed up a bit. But the neighbor is a cool dude so I just chilled until he got home and got it to him literally as he walked in his front door.

In their defence: The entire shipping system, not just USPS, but UPS, FedEx, what-have-you, is currently beyond slammed. I had an Amazon order appear to be lost in space. Amazon replaced it. The missing package mysteriously appeared. I contacted Amazon. "We'll send you a return label for one of them, ok?" "Sure," I reply, "but are you certain you want to do that right now? Kind of tempting fate." "Never mind," they replied. "Keep it."

Nonetheless: I'm sure I'd be highly irate, right now, too. Sorry, cmoorewv :(

I have serious issues with my home carrier. He's mis delivered, lost a package on the truck, etc... Both of those thanks to a kind neighbor two streets away, and persistence by me were found. Luckily. It got to the point that I went to my post office and talked to the General Manager, I told him all that constantly goes on, we get other people's mail and packages, too. He put some sort of note on our address, and since then, knock on wood, things have all at least showed up.

Sucks about the office, you order to the safer address, yet they still fuck up. I sometimes send hardware to my dad's office since I live close by, and his mailman is good. I feel your pain, man. Every order is an exercise in slight nervousness until it's in my paws.

Hopefully it will be found, or whoever got it will give it back to USPS.

Also, you never made mention wether it was scanned as delivered. It sounds as if maybe it wasn't? Keep pursuing this with your post office, and I'd make the vendor aware.

It was scanned as being delivered to the local post office. Trail goes cold there. The mail carrier doesn't deliver to my lab. We pick up, because we need specimens in a timely manner. Some only have a 30 hour window from the time of collection to the time analysis begins. (Like public drinking water samples) so we send a guy at 8Am, 9 30 AM and 3 PM to pick up. The post office sorts our stuff into a bin marked for us. There are other hospitals, labs, plants, etc that do the same thing. So they have most likely put my package into someone else's bin. Then tried to tell me my courier got it. They don't scan stuff into his van, so I'm screwed until it goes back to the post office. If it doesn't show up soon, I'm going higher up the food chain. And the PO also routinely screws things up here. We have a bichemistry unit that does newborn screening. They've been called about specimens that, have sat in the sorting facility for months.

It feels better just being able to vent about it. I was shocked it made it here so fast, too. I'm not sure where exactly it originated from. Hong Kong I thought, but it was sent Sweden Post and got to WV in 6 days.

On top of all their fuck ups, the USPS is telling our lab, and other couriers that we will have to pay a $1200 "convenience" fee to keep picking up our own mail. They want us to pay them for letting us do their damn job.

Happened to me with the kids Christmas presents...they delivered them to a Car Shop up the road because the last name was the Guys first name at the shop...but it was to MY address with my phone number on it also. They called the house saying they received the package from the mailman and they were not expecting a delivery and found it weird and decided to call the number on the package, which is very nice of them to give what was supposed to be delivered here...

UPS dropped the ball with us last week with parts for my car. Tracking stalled out in Knoxville, which is less than an hour from us, saying the box was out for delivery in Knoxville. I don't live in Knoxville, I live in Sevierville. Then it says "undeliverable as addressed." We check the address on file with eBay, and it is indeed our correct address. Next day the expected delivery date is changed to the correct address and delivery expected next day. Next day comes and goes, no package. Got online and again it's "undeliverable." I get on the horn to UPS and ask them just what is going on, they have the correct address. They asked for specific directions to our house, which I give them, then I asked the rep "Don't they have gps?", to which I'm told "I dunno..." o_O..... I finally get my parts from Illinois two weeks after I ordered them and was really anxious to see how the seller had the box addressed. To my surprise, the label is correct. But it isn't the only label on there. The one underneath the correct one was an old address from four years ago. And yet another label under that one was for our correct address. So my question was why was it undeliverable with the first label to begin with? Why did they attempt to deliver in Knoxville when we've never lived there? And why have I received packages from UPS on several occasions since we've lived here with no problems?

Delivery service is unpredictable at best, here, no matter. I live in a sort of rural area where the mailboxes may be up to a quarter mile from the actual house. The long time route drivers know us and generally get things to the right places, but all bets are off with a sub driver. I'd just buy from the B and M stores, but they mark mods up 100 %. I know they have to make a profit, but that's a bit rediculous.

I think the usual drivers get to know the places and people along their routes in less urban places. UPS and FedEx will usually walk a package up the hill to us and the mail carrier either puts stuff in my box or on my neighbor's porch. Which is fine because he always gets it to me. I get nervous about stuff being put in my mailbox sometimes though. It's not within sight from my house. I had an entire box of bank checks stolen one time. Someone went on a small spending spree. No one in the stores asked for ID. The dumb ass actually endorsed them with a license number. The kicker was, no one would investigate that either. State and county cops said it fell to the postmaster and the postmaster passed it back to the cops. I got my money back but no one was ever caught. Or even looked for.

In almost every experience with them they are less than reliable. Lately I've had more than one package sitting in limbo for multiple days. I only seem to have luck when something is sent priority.

Samples sent to my lab with priority mail usually take longer than ones sent first class. I don't quite get it. I have a lot of pissed off customers sometimes because they basically paid to have a sample rejected. They don't get charged by us, but they're out postage. Which can get expensive.

Poor @cmoorewv , I got your Koopor. BWAHAHA...no.

But I have my own sob story.
I received five packages last week. That's the good part.
The bad part is that the mail lady or the system marked all the packages
as 'refused, returned to sender'.

Even though I spent an hour on hold to speak to USPS Customer Service
who assured me that the station manager would be instructed to change the entry
to reflect that the packages were in fact delivered.

Over a week later the tracking status remains the same, refused/returned to sender.

Three were my purchases, one was my old lady's, one was my son's.
So now we have Amazon and Ebay, five vendors, Paypal and a credit card pissed off
and cases being opened against us for non payment for the Paypal and ebay stuff because PP
returned my money when they saw the items as refused even tough I called them
and Amazon did the same.

One guy in Bulgaria returned my money and forgot about it
but the rest are pissed and waiting for returns they'll never get.

Merry Christmas, Mr Zip!

you too, Ms Moore. :)

Usually we get good results from USPS Priority 2- or 3-Day delivery. But, what with the holiday crush:
  • My Billow V2 Nano, instead of taking three days, took five. It somehow got from Honolulu to Phoenix without having left the former, and got to my local PO directly from the latter--w/o passing thru any intervening sorting centers.
  • One of the two packages sent from Amazon went the wrong way and got lost
  • The package Amazon sent as a replacement, which was supposed to be overnighted, took two days, but only after USPS claiming it would take five
  • The package that went the wrong way and was lost mysteriously reappeared and was delivered the next day
Side note: I contacted Amazon about having received a double order. "We'll send you a return shipping label for one of them, ok?" "Sure," I replied, "but are you certain you want to do that now? The shipping system is about to crash and..." "Never mind," he replied, "just keep it."

I have had countless issues with USPS. They're either free, cheap, or your only option on most sites, unfortunately. The one benefit is Saturday deliveries, if they go to the right address... I actually recieved a package on Sunday last week. It should've come Saturday, but I was shocked. Tracking showed arrival at a hub I've never seen in my Zipcode, and then it was at my door. I guess they're doing some Sunday deliveries for the holiday rush? That seems too smart for them, though. I've also thought, at least for the holiday season, they need to hire temps, and or put some carriers solely on packages. It would really streamline everything, and be more efficient. That takes money, and intelligence, though.

OP I'm hoping you somehow get that mod... I'd be super persistent at the post office, when they lost a package of mine, which was found, I was told to pursue it at my P.O. By the 1-800 #. They hate me there, I'm incredibly polite, I just don't bend over and take it when I've paid for a service to be rendered. If it's delayed, fine, just know where my shit is. I don't accept, "well, we don't know where it is".

/Rant, lol. Easy to do with USPS. Again, OP, good luck, and don't be shy with them, just be persistent, and super nice. The nice part tends to piss them off more.

They're currently running 24x7 and running extended delivery hours.

The entire shipping system is swamped to the point of being near collapse. FedEx has been seen delivering in rental trucks with FedEx stickers on the sides. I'm told UPS is so slammed they've been off-loading to the USPS. And USPS' tracking system, as we've seen, has gone from "not entirely reliable" to nearly worthless or downright wrong.

I stopped by the post office this morning. They miraculously found my package. But here's the comical part: it was one tiny envelope. Contained in that envelope was one fucking battery. One fucking battery...my order consisted of 4 batteries, one 4 well charger and the Koopor Plus. The one battery was mailed from California. I'm going to have to contact sourcemore I guess. I won't be surprised if the mod is actually coming from elsewhere and is still in transit. But I was flipping our over one fucking battery. LOL. I guess I need to track down the other three. I'm so annoyed. Merry Christmas everybody!

UPS is so slammed

That reminds me... around Thanksgiving, a UPS delivery guy told us the company had a massive staffing shortage and wouldn't have enough people this holiday. So I just checked. From Tuesday Dec 15...

...on-time delivery rates for both UPS and FedEx declined in the first week of December. Only 91% of UPS deliveries made it one time, while FedEx was on time 95% of the time.
Making matters worse, there is a shortage of workers.
UPS told CNNMoney last week that it had yet to hire all of the 90,000 to 95,000 seasonal workers it plans to add to meet shipping demands. That isn’t going to be an easy feat — the unemployment rate is at 5%.

Come to think of it, I deliver lunch to a large office daily, and the regular UPS guy was in a yellow box truck with stickers over the Penske logo. He had a helper, I chatted for a second with him, and he said it's crazy right now, big surprise. If tracking is all jacked up as well, I have two packages on the way for delivery tomorrow, and one that will ship out tomorrow. Wonder if I'll see the first two today. Doubt it, but would be nice.

@cmoorewv I read the beginning of your post about them finding the package and was pumped for you, then I got a few more words in... That's truly messed up. Was the battery loose, too. I couldn't find who the vendor you ordered from is by reading back throughout the thread. I'd like to know, and have you contacted them. This vendor is messed up, or the P.O. Found some of your shit, and re packaged it.

And I'd check ecig.com first for a vendor. They're out of Austin, TX and have great prices, and great customer service. I'm pretty sure they have the Koopor, and I'd guess it's priced well. Wake and Vape has been good to me also, but I don't know if they have the Koopor plus. They're in CA. Lots of good sales right now, too. I think there are multiple 20% off hardware codes around, the deals section will have em'. It's a shitty situation, but at least you should be able to score a good deal. I will try to see if I can find somewhere with it cheap. Sounds like you need batteries and a charger as well?
