Ok. I ordered this. I have a question though. I generally only use single coils, as opposed to double. Will a 1 ohm at 28ga work ok? or would it get too hot?

1.0 you are fine, if you mean .10 raise it up a bit. On a series mod I would not venture too much lower than say .35 or .45 build. You are pushing a lot of volts to the coils. 28g I don't have that much experience with, maybe someone else could weigh in here on that, I would go 22 or 24 so you have a little forgiveness on ramp up time.

I meant 1.0 (1 ohm). The absolute lowest I have ever been is .5 No desire to go any lower than that. Is it safe to use a single coil at 1.0 on a series device? A friend of mine told me that series devices are too hot for a single coil and I should go dual coil only.

I believe your friend may be a bit confused, when you add another coil you are halving the resistance, which would mean you need two 2 ohm coils to get a 1ohm resistance. But you will be absolutely fine with that, I don't know what wattage you normally vape at, this build on a series will be running at about 70w, if this is much higher than you normally vape it could be a bit much for you. It is however not extreme in the least. Do know that the ramp up time on a series box is next to none, when you hit the fire button "VAPORS" lol
