I wish vendors would get wise and stop calling the EFEST 2500mah 18650's 35A continuous. It's just not true, 35A is their burst rating. EFEST has never called these 35A continuous (as far as I know). They are the LG cells with 20A continuous and 35A pulse. EFEST does not make batteries, only re-brands. These (including the LG's) are great cells and last forever and I love them! The labeling can be misleading, but they are not 35A continuous...battery safety is important people!!!!

i thought about this when the thread was posted about the amp ratings, seems like batteries would be venting everywhere and everyone would know there is a problem

I agree. I haven't heard anything either. Great cell as I said. I just don't use them over 20A. Have you ever seen where EFEST themselves ever say these are 35A continuous? They don't! This is a made up artifact by vendors. 35A is their pulse. Pulse is like 75 seconds, clearly we don't fire our attys that long. They are likely safe @ 35A but personally I wouldn't risk it since the max continuous rating is 20A. We just think because 35A is all they say that it means continuous. I just want ppl to be informed. There is plenty of research on this. Great battery, not 35A continuous. Love you Joe!!!

This doesn't bother me at all... Actually, I've never had a issue with any of my efest batteries. The 30A 2100mah are supposed to be vct4s again I'm good with it.
