Any time something is listed as "styled" or "style", it's a clone. A price that's too good to be true can be another clue. Just searching "styled mod" on their site returns 10 pages, and the same for RDA's.

Not saying it's not possible or has never happened, but FT as far as I know will never knowingly past off a clone as authentic. I find FT to be a pretty honest and reliable source for products as long as you know what your reading and looking at.

I have a melo 2 and I stick that was purchased at a American company that are the real thing. My friend purchased a melo 2 and I stick 30 from Ft. Both were suppost to be authentic but in both cases were not. The melo 2 was garbage compared to mine and the I stick 30 watt lasted a week. I took the I stick apart and the insides were not even built the came as mine it did not even have a heat sink to top it off lol. Both said they were authentic. I will never buy from them and he actually had to go buy both at a American co. What a waist.

I have yet to see any post on FT of anyone making such a claim. And this happened to your friend twice no less. (Coughbullshitcough)

Lol the I stick 30 not only had the heat sink missing, It was missing the safety sponge between the board and the battery, the safety sponges between the battery and the end caps, the sponge that seals around the led to keep the light from over powering the letters, and lasted a whopping week. (Sad) The melo 2 air gap control has the seal missing with no markings on it to label it of being a I stick at all.

I would make your friend show you his order and check the sku's. I bet he doesn't realize he ordered clones or he doesn't want to admit he accidentally ordered clones. I could be wrong, but....

I was with him when we ordered them and we both made sure they were authentic. I have made a few orders with them and some good and some junk. But in this case they were both authentic. Now if we were to order clones = same as original, they would of been poor excuse for clones (junk) that should not be sold. Back when the svd was popular I ordered one with a buddy we both used the same sku number I got a original one he got junk. Was not even made the same on the exterior. As far as getting with ft forget it I just wont do any business with them and I will not ever have to worry about getting junk again. Personally I think they sell other companies rejects.

That's pretty crappy. Don't think I've heard about people having that kinda issue with them.

Personally I think your friend should of did a return with ft instead of letting you take it apart but that is just me.

Considering my genuine VTC with the update cost $37 shipped to my door in 3 days, I can't see what the appeal of this clone is.
