I'm having a strange problem with my Reuleaux. I love the device, but, it hasn't been acting right. I think it has something to do with the battery tray and the batteries not making proper contact, but not sure. I went to Wismec website for support and only thing I saw was contact where you bought it from. For real? No way to get the thing back to them to get fixed or worked on? Not a good look on a pretty expensive mod. Anyways, here's what mine is doing...batteries are in the device. I vape on it and it works fine. I put it down and it shuts down to sleep or whatever and it won't come back up. Try taking batteries out and putting them back in. No good. Try batteries in different places in the tray. Nope no different. I said maybe the batteries are messed up or dead even though I know they are fully charged...nope won't come on. With the batteries in the device, I plug either car charger or wall charger into device and bam! Screen starts to boot and I can plug it out and vape on it. Battery level shows batteries charged. I use it all I want as long as it doesn't sit and go into sleep. The only way I get it to work again is same thing. Plug it up to get it going then it's good as regular. Anyone have this happen or know how I can get Wismec to fix it or do something about it. I really do love it. Just want it working right. Thanks all!

I have heard where some people have had issues with the dna200 version and batteries. It has to do with how the batteries make contact within the battery slot. For example I heard one guy not being able to get Samsung 25r (new green wrapper) to fire or power the device and if I am not mistaken when he switched to a set of mxjo batts the problem was a non issue. It is my understanding that the ring for the contacts on the tray are a tad bit different on the dna version than the RX version and is more finicky/sensitive when it comes to batteries. So check battery options before going to in depth with this issue. GL
You are correct, the RX does not have the rings at all, it has reverse polarity protection, the DNAuses a surface mount fuse on the chip.
I've heard of people trying to file down the rings a bit to take care of that problem. You have to be careful though because as Mr Wolf said, other than the board mounted fuse, those rings are your only reverse battery protection.
That's why I believe the DNA200 chip was really designed to be used with a 3s Lipo pack. I think dual or triple 18650 support was more of an afterthought. This is just my opinion. That all being said, I've read that Evolv was either going to have a different board or one that works in conjunction with the DNA200 that would have normal reverse battery protection. That was a ways back and haven't really heard anything since. Good luck.

I wanted to do that or get it fixed. I have my carbon fiber Jwrap on it. Don't want to post it if possible. Their website says bring it back where you bought it. I bought it a couple hours away from me. I was trying not to have to make that drive just for that.

Update: Now it seems my Samsung 25R's are discharging fast as hell. Charged them over night and used it today and just put them on the charger they are dead. I'm wondering if that's the device or the damn batteries. The batteries used to last a couple days for me. Now it just seems to be draining super quick. This is getting super frustrating. I'm out of town I have a backup device but man I can't vape on my Herakles plus cause the damn backup device doesn't do SS. Grrrrr! I've already tried resetting it to factory and then reloading wismec profile and no luck there. It has to be something with the board.
Just e-mailed Wismec. Hopefully can get a resolution to this. No Reuleaux for me until they figure it out though. The thing is utterly unuseable. I'm wondering if it jacked my batteries up too.
