Hi, i'm new in the forum...so first of all I'd like to say HI to the community.

I mixed my 50/50 pg/vg base (12mg nicotine) with 3% (as suggested) US red mix by Germanflavours.
I'm steeping and breathing it from 1 week...and it still smells and tastes like"alcool...chemicals".
Will it get better? is it normal?

Tobaccos usually take an extremely long time to steep, a month or more in my experience. They are truly flavors that benefit with time. As far as the alcohol taste, try leaving it sit with the cap off overnight. Some flavorings do contain alcohol, and letting it sit with the cap off lets some of that alcohol evaporate.

Most tobacco flavors taste like a$$. Here are a few you might want to invest in.

Hang- USA mix
Hang- red mix
Hang- ry1
Inw- tobacco absolute Virginia blend
Inw- dnb
Vzsc- real cig
Vzsc- Parliament

I did let it breathe for hours twice...

That must be a potent one! While I do have several German Flavors, none of them are tobaccos. But I do know other forum members have stated that the recommended starting percentages were too high, some even cut them by half.

i'll start a new small batch at 1% (three time smaller than the suggested)

Bull City vapors should have all these flavors in stock as well. If you're looking for a true cigarette flavor stick with han, inw, and sc flavors. , all the rest lack in comparison when it comes to tobaccos unless you do NET's.

Don't know that specific flavor but most tobacco flavors are super concentrated.
I would start at 1%

This reminded me of the time i used 4% M type in a mix, mistaking the the bottle with the vanilla bourbon bottle i intended to use.
Couldn't get rid of the smell for days.

Screw PC and I don't mean the computer.

I don't know how deicated tobbaco fan you are, but if your really into tobbacco juices and willing to put up with the hassle of rewicking frequently...go get yourself some naturally extracted tobacco juice....nothing else comes close.

I prefer NET's for tobacco flavorings. I get mine from @Real Extract in Seattle . BEST place for them, IMO.

If I am using just flavorings, I usually start at 1%. I have tobacco flavors from FA, FE, and TFA.

You have to remember, that NO juice will ever taste like a burning cigarette. It will only be as close as the smell of loose, unburned tobacco.

Other than NETs, no tobacco flavoring tastes good stand alone, IMO. It always needs blended with something else.

I made some really good extracted tobacco juice but like you said rewicking. I have had to do this several times a day just was not worth the trouble.

For ease of mixing I have used and use FA, seven leaf, tuscan reserve, latakia, virginia, and some NET I whipped up.
all of FA is the un-burnt scents of tobacco, the net I did well does not taste like tobacco at all.

I have to agree on this list.
VC-SC Parliament 2.5% (ECX sells FE Parlor witch is identical IMO)
INW Virginia TA 2%
INW DNB 1%
(my favorite mix)

I have also tried them all but the shade is very good all I can get out of shade is a mild flavor of tobacco none of the flavors that make it something else.

I've made alot of tobacco extracts there are ways to clean it up so It's not quite so bad as that .but yeah they are coil killers.I think the perfect rig for NET juices is a squonker....pop the cap off pull out the wick, dry burn your coil rewick and your off.

Doesn't sound normal to me. 3% will be really strong but not too bad. I think that's what I mixed it at the first time. Did you shake it up good before mixing?

It's an awesome flavor. I use it in my "Red" mix at 2% along with some other goodies.

I don't know... but the smell is still really "alcohol"
Can it be that it's cause i didn't shake the aroma before mixing?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned fa soho. 15% soho with 2% fa meringue has practically been my adv for over a month or so since trying it. Granted it's a sweeter tobacco especially with the meringue, but I sure do like it.

15% of a Fa flavor does not sound enjoyable. Besides I've never been a fan of there tobaccos. Everyone's taste is different though.

Believe it or not, 15% of Soho is a fair assessment. From what I've read on the FA site and others' posts that have tried it, it's quite possibly the only weak flavor FA turned out. Haven't used it myself though.

Hmm, you learn something new everyday. I'd still prefer inw and hang tobacco flavors over anyone else.

I'm a big fan of both Inawera and Hangsen, I feel they're very underrated. Love them both.

Soho is a great tobacco, very clean with a biscuity feeling to it. I have found over time as a base 5-10% max is all you really need though. although for FA it is a weak one it isnt as weak as suggested for me. I also like 7 leaves and tuscan reserve by FA....but cuban supreme I found utterly revoltiong, tasted of leathery soil to me. The best one I have tried as a standalone has to be Inawera AM4A, it tastes more like made recipe than a standalone, smooth light pipe tobacco, vanilla, chocolate and coffee I taste all very very subtely, could happily vape that standalone which I couldnt quite say for any of the others

You babe tobacco flavors?
Not true tobacco flavors per se. I do love RY4 anything, but that's not really a tobacco. I have a couple of flavored ones I like, IA cappuccino tobacco, FW chocolate tobacco - virtually any of them that are sweet. I'm just getting into mixing a few for a couple of other people I know that have to have a "cigarette taste" to their vapes. I suppose you'd say I like a bit of a tobacco "nuance" in a vape, not the true flavor. I am a big fan of Inawera and Hangsen flavors in general, always have been.

Never tried shisha in any flavor, always pondered over the differences myself.

What Inawera flavors would you recommend for cigarette like taste.

I asked Inawera and Hangsen about the Shisha flavorings/eliquids. They stated it usually meant "double the flavor" and more intense. Now if it states tobacco I would assume double the tobacco notes/more concentrated.
Haze makes Shisha tobacco. Haze also has a line of e-juice.
When they make shisha, it's made by mixing e-juice with tobacco. Hence, their e-juice has no tobacco or tobacco flavorings. It's just the same juice they are mixing with the shisha.
My point is I guess, tobacco is a hard flavor to get right to begin with. I'd think it would be extremely hard to get a strong tobacco AND have other flavors shine through.

Not that I am trying to belittle or dismiss your knowledge. You have much knowledge. I just don't prefer Inawera or Hangsen for tobacco flavorings, as I find them weak and floral/chemical like.

Thanks, been vaping a lot of unflavored and some with a little NN ta. Sometimes still want a little stronger cig taste so I'll have to try the INW flavors.

I have been vaping the same mix for 1.5 years. I don't use anything else. Took me a while to get it down pat. 7% FA Shade, 1% FA Vape Wizard. I mix it 50/50 and let it steep for 8-12 weeks. I mix up 300 ml at a time and bottle it in 50ml bottles. I put it somewhere dark and cool but I don't bother opening it until I use it.
