constant dry vapor?

so except for when i put in a fresh wick even a cpl hrs later i seem to only get try hits to the point where i have to drink after every single puff, im not sure why, this just suddenly started happening and its killing my throat. is there anything that would cause this problem?

idk what more to say im still new, but im using an ijust2 runnin the fishbone rda with dual 8 wrap micro coils?(the one right under 1/8") and using an 80/20 vg/pg.

idk my buddy did it all for me im assuming 24g kanthal since thats generally all he uses and how do u find wattage on a mech mod? i cant find jack on it.. idk what im doing tho im just trying to quit smoking >.<

There could be too much cotton in the coil choking the flow of juice to the coil. Pic would help on this.

The build could just be too hot for you if you're not used to vaping yet. More wraps or thinner wire can cool the build down. If you had a regulated mod you could just turn it down but you get what you get with a mech mod.

The juice you are vaping could be higher vg than what's normal now... like a 50/50 or something and a higher vg juice could be easier on your throat if you're sensative to pg.

What I can think of off the top of my head.

Wicking issue
Since ur mod is semi mech/regulated there's no way to adjust wattage, make the coil diameter bigger stuff enough cotton, change ur juice.
When was the last time you clean ur coils?

Ur cotton burnt
Ur coils are clogged
That's why u getting burnt taste...
The problem with ur mod is that on a full charge you will get full voltage power then it eventually goes down, and when that happens, ur 80/20pg juice is not being cook or vaporize the same way it will when u have full power...ur coils starts to clogged up, if u look at ur coils right now they are dark and charred...
Go to a VAPE shop have them rebuild it for you or have ur friend build it for you, maybe try a 26 g khantal 8/9 wraps 3.0 diameter.

Maybe your buddy can redo it with a higher resistance build to try. Or a vape shop near you.

You will eventually want some organic cotton or Japanese cotton, rewicking is something you will do often. Does your girlfriend/wife have any square cotton pads you could grab? Not the long rectangular ones, those are tampons and don't make very good wicks.
