I got one of these as a stocking stuffer and decided to break it out in anticipation of the snow storm of doom that's currently in progress. I was wondering if it would be safe to use it to charge a single 18650. According to the specs the output is 5v... Thanks

Yes those work. I've used power sticks when traveling to charge my mods

I use and give my friends these all the time.
Walmart has them for under $5.

That's where mine came from. I'm definitely picking up a few more. The diagram on the box looked like it was using two 18650's but did not specify. I wonder whats in there. Anyone know?

I think it's just a single 18650.
One of my friends gave one back because she said it didn't work and I was going to cut it open. But it turned out she forgot to charge it before reusing it and it works fine.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Thank you for the reminder! I have two of these lying around (getting a little old, but still serviceable) that need a charging.

They're on the USB decks now, along with sixteen other batteries (AA, AAA, lithium, 9 volt) that I'm charging to prepare for the snow.
