Higher ohms

I just got a noisy cricket with velocity rda and built the coils with 24 nicro I believe... (can't remember bought it a while ago)and did ten wraps at 3.0 but the ohms are still at 2.7 what's an easy way to get the ohms up higher without getting into harder builds...still only doing simple builds

What is the coil I.D.?
You could up the resistance a bit by going to a bigger I.D. or adding another wrap to your existing I.D...Your close now at 2.7..just a thought

I'm not sure honestly I have a coil master kit and I used the 3mm so I'm assuming that's the inside diameter right? I just don't want to put like 12 wraps and have it be tight could try it tho I spose

It's worth a shot maybe, but why do you need exactly 3.0 ohms when you're so close at 2.7? I don't think they are all that much different vaping..just sayin

Can't really say Bruce...you're using 24g Nichrome? Might try the same build with 24g kanthel.. Ohms will definitely go up..

But I'm totally loving the setup either way and super excited because I ordered it online and it said it would be here between Wednesday and Friday but got it today and I'm very impatient when waiting for new vape gear so I was like a kid on Christmas when it showed up today!haha

I just bought a unregulated series box mod i cant find the perfect vape I try 20g 10 wraps,22g 10 wraps (thats the only wire I have lol they came around .2 and .3
Hot vapor and a lot of dripping only 1 or 2 second hits then yesterday I had some 28g coils at .8 but ther small and super cold I dont have to much hit,any recomendations? To handle high watts

Haha, yeah, the thick .2 and .3 are definitely too much. That's gonna put you close to 200w. You're going to need to buy thinner wire and go higher with it.

Try dual 26g at around .6-.7 or dual 24g at around .5 for a reasonably-fast, hard-hitting and full-bodied vape. The diameter NEEDS to be a minimum of 3mm or you will get some dead serious dry hits. I tend to go a little bigger... ...1/8" (3.175mm) or even 9/64" (3.572mm) work even better.

Honestly though, I've given up on standard coils for series. I don't think there's a "perfect" series vape to be had with them. Claptons handle the voltage much better. Nothing fancy for me. 2-2.5 mm dual 28/36 or even 28/38 @ 0.6-0.7 is nice. 0.55 26/36 will give you a bit more oomf. Or you can go balls to the wall and do a 0.45 dual 24/40... ...or at least I think it's ~.45... ...it's 10 wraps @ 3mm.
