Hey everyone. Once again I have nothing to offer but questions, sorry.
I just recently purchased a ks super tank from my local shop (mainly cause I felt bad from not shopping there since I started making my own juice). I haven't used a tank in probably a year I'm mainly a dripper guy. I filled the tank up and started vapping but the flavor doesn't seem strong enough. So i guess my question Is is this my tank or do I need to up the % of my flavors since it has to suck up the juice?

Tanks will kinda mute the flavor that your used to getting from a dripper. You could try bumping your %s up a tad (2% up to 3%) and see if that helps but in my experience (and opinion) you'll never get the flavor from a tank that you do from a dripper.
Try the same mix in your dripper and if it taste fine it's just the nature of the beast(sorry tank folks) good luck and let us know what you come up with

Please don't apologize, magjagger. The community has no expectations nor is a contribution ever required.

That said, some tank (As with RTAs) are better at producing flavor that others. I'm happy with Herakles, others choose something else but to reproduce the purity of a direct dripper hit? Unlikely. As the Phil the Doorman advised, "Lower your expectations; avoid disappointment," :D

Seriously, if you enjoy the convenience of a sub-ohm tank (I love them long time) try a few, try others equipment if you can and settle (there's that word) on the one you like the best. Then drip at home and savor the flavor! :)

You may not need to up the flavor for the tank. Try and play with different settings. Sometimes I like it set at 65watts and other times 70 depending on the juice. The other part is the coil...in the atlantus v2 I like the 0.3ohm coils but very much dislike the 0.5 coils (can't get the right flavor out of the 0.5 coil).

Same here, just fuck with the settings a bit and you'll get the flavour out of it. Some flavours only really come out at certain temps/wattages and be totally non-existant at other temps/wattages.

I only sub-ohm, but I'll be dripping right away! I'm pretty excited, actually.

Some day I'll be dripping, but I'm not ready to make my own coils. Too scared to mess up building a coil.

I know, sounds odd...you could really mess up with nic and make your self sick...but to me measuring nic and flavorings is easy. But wrapping a coil around a rod and so on, well just not ready for it.

I have yet to try it, too. But I mean, it can't be that difficult; right?

Just stick to low nic juice, then you won't mess it up with too much nic. :p

It definitely takes practice but so does mixing juice. Just try and try again. I keep my nic around 2-3 mg so I actually save a lot of money. I had a 120 bottle of 25 mg/ml last me almost 6 months.

Hello everyone! I am new to vaping and I do my own coils, is not that hard, I make them in dif. sizes but 2.5 mm give me better results with my kbox 70, I encourage you to try it, you will save $ to buy more flavors and juices lol!

Agreed, coils are indeed not hard to wrap at all..been doing it for years for my various RDA and RTA atomizers.
A ohmeter, a set of bits and different gauge wires is all I need for coils that rock...
Simple 9 wraps of 24g on a 3mm bit..one of my favorite builds that's fast and super easy...

If you're a hight VG% DIY'r then experiment with lowering your VG levels. I know from my experience w/ the Cthulhu V2 as soon as I increased my PG, the flavor started to improve. Granted this never effected the flavor in my Subtank Mini, but I think that is more because it's already hit the ceiling on flavor, in a good way, and cant get much better.
