OK i been playing around some with twisted coils. I cant seem to get my build how i want it. im using kanthal A1 26g triple twisted. Great flavor! But i have 4 wraped it , 5 wraped it and 6 wraped it now and still sitting around .22 - .26 I really wanna be between .3 and .4 Im wraping around a stanley screwdriver about the size of a 5/16 drill bit. so my question is how do i get it to between .3 to .4 i cant go any bigger my royal hunter is full with the 6 wrap in it.

One less wire will bring it up to a .32-.36 on that same build

Wrap around a 1/8 or 3/32 bit. Probably the 3/32 will get you close.

Besides what @dre mentioned, you can use http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp as a guideline.

Thanks for the suggestions was getting frustrated...but I got it I dropped a wire like Dre said I just prefer the larger diameter coil.... landed about .34 perfect. .. and still got the flavor!

Wire or Premade Coils?
I suggest you just buy some wire...Its cheap and you will have enough to make enough coils to last forever, or to atleast get really good at making them.
Premade coils...Wash them on Arrival! Other then being expensive they can be okay.

If you wanting to get between a .3-.4 then I suggest you just buy some 24 or 26g wire.

Just noticed this statement in the original post. Are you centering your coils? You should have more space available.
