first and foremost.. yes, I am butt hurt. anyone in my position would be.
very few people here knew about my gimp status before magoo disclosed it. I liked it that way, when I first got in the forum world I conducted a social experiment and disclosed with one group and not another. I was treated completely different by the group that knew. When I came here a few already knew and I confided in a few that were also injured in some capacity through a PM.
I was not put in this thing by any fault of my own. And I am quite proud of everything I accomplished in the 4.5 years since I was injured. My wife left me 3 days after the injury, and I spent 6 months in the trauma center. 4.5 years later I had 2 college degrees, one in Electrical Engineering, and, I was counseling other patients and care givers along with giving presentations to students. all of that after someone texting and driving fucked my life up.

For someone to find amusement in that, or think that anyone deserves it, makes them a sick twisted soul. For that same person to find amusement with a person suffering from effects as a result of defending his very freedom to say that crap, is more insulting. Then to flip around and say that its funny for a person to be trying to figure out how to care for his family.... is beyond the pale.

An idea but it means he could say anything about anybody & we'd have zero proof of what he said and when.

Couldn't disagree more. ECF bans people for saying anything against a mod or their favorite vendors. This guy has gone "Hulk smash" on everybody. Another difference is that this ban request isn't coming only from the mods, it's mainly from the community. Being an asshole to a mod or a vendor will never get you banned here. In fact, being such a dick to everybody that it starts a ban request movement still hasn't kicked this guy to the curb. The comparison to ECF doesn't hold up.
