TL;DR IMO MyVaporStore is awesome and I highly recommend them, hopefully you'll never have to use thier customer service, but if you do I think you'd be hard pressed to find better.

Hello Fellow Vapers,

I feel like I have to share this story with you as an FYI and as a way thanking MyVaporStore (MVS).

I've edited and edited this long story down to this:
I had some tanks and tips coming from MVS being shipped via USPS, tracking says the pkg was "Delivered, In/At Mailbox " (2-5-16), However there's no pkg in my mail box, no re-delivery notice, nothing. Naturally I contacted USPS and MVS to tell them about my problem. A few emails later (some angry) and USPS makes it's clear to me and MVS that as far as they're concerned the pkg was delivered when and where it was supposed to be and USPS was not going to take any responsibility for my lost/stolen package.
So at this point I'm trying to accept the fact that I've just lost $84 dollars because I wasn't home to intercept the mail man. (Lots of sarcastic and shitty comments removed.)
And as I was moving thru the five stages of grief and coming upon angry acceptance, I get this email from MVS:

Dear Jason,

Thank you for your response. I too have filed a claim on your behalf with the USPS. At the moment, I am waiting a call-back from them, which should take 3-4 business days. I will follow-up with you, once I hear from them.
1) Once we hear from the USPS, a reshipment would be provided disregarding the fact if the USPS claims your package was delivered or not. Your order is important to us and we will stand by our customer's words over the USPS. Please allow us to hear from the USPS before this can happen.
2) Unfortunately, all sales are final and a refund cannot be provided. Please allow us to hear from the USPS.
Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. Thank you for choosing myvaporstore and have a great day!

Sincerely,

Jeff

I was literally speechless when I read: "a reshipment would be provided disregarding the fact if the USPS claims your package was delivered or not. Your order is important to us and we will stand by our customer's words over the USPS."
Think about it, MVS could have just told me it's not their problem, I mean they did their part, they sent the package and it was delivered (somewhere). But they're re-sending the order to me!
Maybe it's just me, but in my world your guilty until proven innocent and since your to poor to be proven innocent your guilty by default, and USPS has made it clear that in there opinion I received the package (therefore I'm lying); so I was blown away by MVS taking my side on this issue, especially considering that they're loosing money to help me.
MVS has earned a loyal customer in me, I don't care if I can get things cheaper elsewhere, they've got my business from now on.

Thanks for sharing your CS experience with the MVS.
Last time I had that happen via USPS, when it changed to delivered and the mailbox was empty, I drove to the post office. The delivery driver had just returned, and the PM had him go back and check his vehicle. Miraculously my box reappeared, ZT-350 in a box labeled The Knife Store.
USPS has no accountability of delivery of their drivers, and UPS and FedEx are heading down that path, due to volume constraints.

I was hoping against hope that USPS would tell me it was on a truck, in a parcel locker anything, but instead I have an email that all but comes right out and accuses me of lying.

I gave up on the world of the communications to a call center. I now go for direct confrontation of driver/dist. center mgr., and put faces to names, whenever possible.

That's a good idea RatRacer, honestly this morning I felt like putting more than a name to the face.

I always, on hot days offer my mailman a cold drink, and on cold days a hot one. Get to know your postal carrier, doing so could pay off! ;)

Just a quick update:
Just got another email from MVS, they're out of the drip tips I had ordered...but I can have a refund, store credit or choose others "at no additional cost of course". You just gotta love that!

I use them often, first class service, ordered Kanger OCC coils and had one bad one, e-mailed MVS, do you know they sent me a box of five replacements.

Sounds like an honest company. Gonna look em up. Nice to be trusted first until proved wrong. Doesn't happen much anymore. On the postal service, in my small town I have never had problems. When I lived in big cities thats another story.

That is cool! I honestly had no idea how good they were, I just knew they had what I wanted and they have fast shipping and so far everything I've bought from them that could be verified authentic was. But until this incident I'll admit that I wasn't they're most loyal customer basically because if I could put together a cart for dollar less somewhere else I would. And I kinda feel bad now because when this order arrives I'll have all the equipment me and mine are going to "need", so it may be along time before I spend money with them again.
Still maybe this thread will help them and some members a little bit, I hope so anyway.

Anyway I'll hollar at yall later! Take is sleezy if you can, trust me it's worth the extra $$!!

Glad to hear this. A long time ago I had a similar problem with another vendor and they more or less told me to pound sand. MVS has always done right by me too. Good company.

especially considering that they're loosing money to help me.
But are they really? I mean, you'll be buying from them again. And by telling people about your experience, you're bringing them more business. That's the power of good customer service. When all of your people are providing it, sales grow. The increase in sales tends to more than cover the petty losses from sparse cases such as yours. The $84 is nothing compared to the hundreds they stand to make from you in the future. It's a no-brainer... ...or at least it should be. Some businesses really do make you wonder who the hell is training these people. They're all policy, with no capacity to make important judgement calls that can make the difference between having a loyal customer base and not... ...maybe they're too scared of losing their jobs to do something that's actually good for their employer. *shrugs*

When it comes to customer service, some people just can't see the forest for the trees... ...USPS, I think can see it perfectly well... ...they just don't give a fuck because they don't have to when your alternatives are FedEx and UPS. They know that even though they lost your package, you will eventually have to cave and pay for their services again.

Glad MVS is setting the example for how this shit should be handled. They're a big vendor... ...somebody over there needs a raise.

Even the multbillion dollar corporation doesn't do that and I can't say who that is lol

Kudos to MyVaporStore.

This kind of thing is one reason I'd like to install a video surveillance system. That and people snatching stuff off porches.
