Ordering the MilitiaMods Mad Modder DNA200 for its lifetime warranty.
Still new-ish to vaping so I had some questions!
I am currently using a Joyetech eVic VT with Ni200 0.25 coils at 500F with a Freemax Starre subtank.

I love flavor. What tanks can provide the best flavor and what coils should I use?
Is a RDA/RBA whatever better for flavor?
And what tanks can provide a huge oil capacity? Like 6ml and over that are reliable?
Lastly which ones make the best clouds?

This is the order of what I am looking for in a subtank/RDA/RBA whatever.

Some help for my noob self would be very much appreciated :)

Thanks!

I'll speak in general terms. Most people will tell you the best attys for flavor won't be the ones that produce the biggest clouds and vice versa. In life everything is a trade-off. Sort of like the fastest car won't also get the best gas mileage. I only build my own coils, my favorite RTA's are The Billow V2 and UD Bellus. I think they are a good compromise. They both hold 5ml, have good flavor and produce a decent amount of vapor.

If your looking for a tank that takes prebuilt heads, the TFV4 is a pretty good choice. It has a ton of different heads available for it (just about an unlimited amount of choices). A lot of people also like the Crown.

Probably the absolute best flavor producer would be a dripper. As to which one would be best, I can't say because I use RTA's. Maybe others who prefer drippers will chime in.

I'm not sure what's really important to you. Is it flavor, clouds, juice capacity, etc (in order of importance)?

PS Great choice on getting a DNA200. I have 4 different models and since getting them, they have retired all my other mods to the shelf.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit Here's a link to the section of the forum that deals with RTA's, RBA's, and RDA's.
Here's the link to the section that deals with Subtanks (Prebuilt Heads).
Lots of good information in both of those sections.

Congrats on the DNA!
I'm a little old school in vape terms with tanks, but I like the silo beast (5ml capacity) top fill; and, it uses the aspire triton coils. There is a 0.3 and a 0.4 ohm that will do TC with SS.
Great flavor and clouds at 70w on the 0.3ohm or 50w on the 0.3 ohm
Also atoantis coils are pretty easy to find.
People are also loved me the tfv4 because of its coil options.

For an RDA I'm a huge fan of both Aeolus v2 and lite as well as the petri rda both are major flavor and cloud rdas.

Hey Buddy! How have you been doing? What a surprise that arguably the 2 biggest DNA200 supporters here would show up in this thread to congratulate him :D

I disagree with the general idea that theres a tradeoff between clouds and flavor...
To me huge clouds = huge flavor.
Petri rda is an awesome atty for great flavor but right now 13heaavens 9 hells rda is my favorite atty for flavor and clouds.

Haha! No kidding right? I'm jealous, dude! I wish when I started vaping that we had the technology. It could have saved me a metric ton of cash.

Been doing ok, ready for summer.
How've you been?

I'm doing pretty good, like you waiting for summer. Been a relatively mild winter in Michigan, then out of nowhere they are calling for lows of -2 on the weekend WTF . Spring training is about to start lol

My point was is there is no such thing as a tank that's the absolute best at everything!

I know, I've done that and it still tastes like an empty can to me without having some huge truck build. Which is great for some, who enjoy that. I like a basic 24g or 22g build. You're also comparing a series mech to a regulated mod that the op is getting.
So you're using a ton of metal in there compared to 7-8 wraps
To each is own.

I get what youre saying... too much air sucks. I get too much air from the petri rda cloud cap and its too tight with the stock cap. Solution for me was a large build and extra wick to block off some of that airflow on the cloud cap.... gives me clouds, but i think mutes flavor a little. I fire that on the efusion at like 120watts.
Then theres the 13h9h, the build i have is not too big... its a .3ohm build, which on a seriee is not too crazy.... i dont think these types of rdas are well suited for normal macro or micro builds... the decks are too large. If youre going to do normal meat n potatoes builds probably want to go to smaller rdas, like those minis. Freakshow mini would be the shit imho, makes me want to go get one just to try out

That's exactly my point... You've been vaping long enough to know how to make something for for you. The OP is a newish vapor still.
The petri solution for me was the stock cap with there chuff (dotcap) it opened the airflow with the stock cap to be completely perfect for me. That's my go to tc atty. dual coil 24g SS 9/10 wrap.
The TM and the indestructible get interchanged on my hexohm with Clapton coils.

My two favorites right now are the Herakles Plus and TFV4. In that order. Both have great flavor and vapor production.

New to vaping myself but really getting into it. Just have a question about the nic level you wanna use. The subtanks hit really harsh for any nic over 6mg. So lie myself fresh from no analogs I lie a little higher nic. May just wanna check that out. I love the crown because i sub 6mg for great taste and clouds. But at tumes feel i need more nic i pull my natutilus out and hit it for a bit.

I mainly just want vapor flavor! Dont care how I get it I just want maximum flavor from my vape!
The ml capacity and clouds are just optional seconds of choice that go along with flavor.
What DNA200 devices do you own? I have my heart pretty set on the mad modder just because of the lifetime warranty but I am still open to suggestions.
Which one first off preforms the best in terms of quality for someone like you?
Which one has the best battery life for a chain vaper like myself?
And whats the warranty's on those?

Lifetime warranty for the win. As long as that company lives, you will have a working mod.

EXACTLY! Most high end mods only have a 90 day - 1 year warranty
The only thing is the DNA200 chip is only covered by a 1 year warranty and everything else is covered! Best of all you can talk to the guys who make them on facebook and friend them and have personal, easy access support in case of anything!
I have heard from some people who broke the mod and did things that were not supposed to be covered by the warranty and I hear as long as you are completely honest with them they will cover you!
Near $300 for all of that is BEYOND worth it!

Here's a picture of 3 of mine. I also have a DNA200 Reuleaux not pictured. For battery life it is the king since it uses 3 x 18650's, but it's also the heaviest and least pocket friendly. My other 3 basically all get about the same battery life - the VT200 gets just a tad more. I recently got an accessory 2 x 18650 battery compartment for the Hotcig DX200. It's nice because I can change 18650's on the fly but it makes it wider and with 2 batteries the DNA200 is limited to 133 watts. No way around it, if you want more battery life your mod will be bigger/heavier. No free ride.

i have 2 vapor sharks and the cloud-maker. The cloudmaker, I can't recommend with a good heart, the mod doesn't have issues, but the company is in a questionable position for me to in good conscious tell someone to buy from them. If that changes I will scream from the roof tops, belays the concept is interchangeable parts. The idea is run 1100mah, 1300mah or dual 18650. Move the 510, add s bottom feed, change the panels color or make it clear.
The shark is great. It has a rapid charger that lets you too off from empty to full in 4o minutes.
With that gives you tiny size but only 4-6 hours of runtime.
Like wingsfan said everything vaping is compromise.

What is the problem with the company if I may ask? I really like the full customization of the cloudmaker and may buy one in the future depending on what the problem is with the company.

they had a rocky start. Not sure of their current status though, as I haven't kept up.
Here is there subreddit. the owner and staff are on there often as well.
you can form a better picture there.

Thanks!
Something I found that helped boost flavor was a longer drip tip with narrow hole. Just my 2 cents.

I really appreciate all of your guys input and help for a noob like myself! Vaping is becoming a passion and I just want to learn as much about it as possible and maybe even make a career out of it!

I want to get a start on all of this because Utah lawmakers are considering a 85% tax on all things vaping and that really sucks!

I saw that.

that hexohm.. the middle one in my pic, comes with a lifetime guarantee. but, it only does kanthal. ... and it does kanthal really well. :)
that with a dripper and I'm a happy vapor. its a 200$ piece and American made authentic out od texas. if you were looking for 1 regulated mod that would ever fail, that's it right there.
but its gonna be overpowered for nautilus or most positive ohm tanks

I left mine on top of my car and it was run over and survived... also i dropped it in the toilet and it survived... it one day decided it had enough and died on me, probably from me putting well under the 20a load the chip is designed for and the warrantee ressurrected it. So.... well worth the money.
