Looking for opinons on flavoring companies

I am new to this forum but, have been making my own e juices for three months now. I have purchased mostly TFA/TPA concentrates. I have found that 80% of my fruit flavors taste like rotten, fermented fruit...even at very low or very high percentages. Also, a lot of the flavors seem to lose their flavor the longer they steep. I have been lurking around reading a ton of other people's advice, blogs and recipes. I've notice a lot of people use CAP, FA and LA flavorings. I have also come across some negative buzz about TFA/TPA.....so what I am interested in learning is what flavor companies do you like and why....also, if you have found the same problems/other problems with TFA/TPA? Thanks so much for your opinions/ advice.

I would have to agree, TFA does have some great flavors that shine, but many of them do fall a bit flat. Capella and LA seem to make more quality flavors, or at least stronger / accurate to name. They tend to be a bit more expensive, which is fair, but for the most part are totally worth it. The main Capella flavors that I buy and enjoy greatly are Banana, Blue Raspberry Cotton Candy, Vanilla Custard (of course), and for LA the Cherry, Marshmallow, Vanilla Butternut. But, in fairness, I have plenty of TFA flavors that do just fine, mostly the more basic flavors such as Menthol, Spearmint, Peanutbutter, Milk Chocolate, Wintergreen. Obviously taste is subjective, but those are some of the Capella & LA flavors that I have found that really shine.

Moving this on over to the DIY subs...

Personally FA is my first go-to for most fruits, though I do use TFA for both of their blueberries, honeydew, watermelon, and a few others. CAP also has some good fruits, not sure whether I'm liking their dragonfruit or TFA's more. I've never used LA because most of the reviews on them I've seen have ranged from dismissive to straight bashing, with only a small handful of their flavorings being listed as a "preferred" version.

Makes me wonder if they're is other issues like PG/VG/NIC, or equipment being used.
I've had no issues with most of the TFA flavors.
Maybe post some examples of the recipes you're having troubles with.

I prefer CAP and FA flavorings. Many TFA flavorings are too chemical tasting to suit me.
Strawberry is one flavor that tends to fade with steeping.

TFA strawberry is one of the worst flavours I have tried, tastes like chemical awfulness with a hint of strawberry, and after steeping that hint is gone.

I get the same thing with CAP Strawberries & Cream.
And , yes, some Strawberries can take up to 2 weeks to "get better".

Yep on the CAP strawberries and cream. Mine went down the drain. One of the few CAP flavors I have dumped.

Cap sweet strawberry is good.
Fa strawberry is good.
I use both, sometimes together.
Only tfa i use regularly is brown sugar and banana cream.
I also enjoy vanilla swirl and toasted marshmallow.
Never tried any tfa fruit other than the banana cream which is more like banana smoothie or banana split rather than actually fruit basket banana (if that even makes sense).
Fa makes good fruit flavors, i like to mix em with caps counterparts, which makes them excellent to me.
Aside from the strawberries i alwso like to mix some fa orange with caps sweet tangerine, comes out pretty nice.
I think every flavor brand has their strong suits.
Never tried anything else other than tfa, fa and caps though.

The blueberry is outstanding. Want strong just add to taste, it does not get wonky. Maybe 15%.
