Ok so maybe someone can point me in the right direction . I am looking for a Rda that is probably not norm right now and I could use some suggestions . I am looking for a single coil style Rda , post less , bar clamp , dual post or whatever I can find to make my new everyday dripper , right now I have a mutation v4 and a dark horse clone , they both do very well but I seem to think I would like a single coil deck better . Help me out and toss me some names .

On a side note I have a eleaf 60 tc , a evic vtc mini , cuboid , and a subbox . So not a huge amount of power but I am not ting to fog out the house just get good flavor and ease of rewicking . Have a Griffen on a slow boat coming sometime a crown , v8 mini and a melo 2 .....just lookin for some new shines to curb the addiction !

The Plume Veil and the Marquis can both can be operated single-coil. That's the way I run mine.

Have you by chance used or know anyone with the hannya postless ? The marquis looks good but looks like it's labor intensive to build . How's the flavor on that one ?

I've seen the Hannya postless, but don't know anyone who has one. (I'm sure somebody 'round here has, though.)

The Marquis isn't any harder than any other upon which to install coils. Or, at least, a coil. (I honestly don't think two coils would be any more difficult than one.) Wicking is a little tricky. I imagine it's very tricky with two. A pair of bent long-nose, very pointy tweezers, like come in the Coilmaster kit, come in very handy.

It produces a very flavourful vape, without a lot of power required. I think I run mine at around 23W or so?

If you're interested, I may be selling my Marquis clone. Don't really want to, but I'm kind of swimming in RDAs (counts... *sigh* seven of 'em) and I need to thin the herd a bit.

I received my Hannya RDA today, to add to my collection of currently 64 RDAs. I'm not so fond of the Marquis, nor the Plume Veil either.
The Hannya by the looks of it, should be a good in between RDA. Depending on your coil(s), it could be a good flavor, and cloud chaser RDA. It needs a bath though, in order to get rid of the remnants of machine oil. Otherwise, it is a well build RDA. I haven't put a build in it yet, 'cause I've got some work to do first.

Oh, forgot to mention, I also ordered the accessory kit as well. It contains a glass cap (dual coil only), a 510 drip tip adapter (not contained w/ the RDA), 2 o-rings, and for S & G, 2 LED lights.

Hannya is great but my favourite single coil atty is V for Vendetta V2. Either one is great and both of them are cheap so......get them both.

The V might be a good RDA. However, for a beginner, it might not be a good RDA, 'cause they tend to over drip, and with the bottom airflow, it's asking for trouble.

The Hannya is less leak resistant than the VfVV2, the V is very leak resistant ha ha you would need to pour a lot of liquid in there and hold it exactly wrong to make it leak. The holes in the posts are above the dripwell and tilting it is not a problem. On the Hannya if you have any loose juice and tilt it with the airflow holes downward its juice waterfall time. I never have leaks from either of them.

Well, I might get me one in the near future. I'm collecting RDAs. :)

lol, you might need to change the bottom O ring, one it comes with is a little loose. I used one from a Velocity clone on mine and it was perfect.

Mine takes a beating as you can see here - underneath all that gunk is a staged heating clapton, could probably use a dry burn and rewick :D

I may give that another look, some day, just for the novelty. But the Aeolus Lite is next up, for me. And, before I try any other new ones, I need to sell some of the ones I don't use as much, or at all, any more.

I'm not so fond of the Marquis, nor the Plume Veil either.
I like them both. The Plume Veil was my first RDA. I actually only bought it for testing juice. But that got me into preferring RDAs, and it produces pretty nice flavour and density with a single coil, so it's in my rotation.

The Marquis... I have a love/hate relationship with that one. The flavour is nothing short of terrific, IME. I get as much flavour and density with the Marquis, with a single coil, 26 ga. Kanthal, at a little over 1Ω, as I do either my Vector or my Sapor, for example, and with less clouds. I expect that's because of the smaller deck/atomization area. But that also leads to my frustration with it. I have a hard time not over-dripping it. And while it is somewhat leak-proof, it's not when you over-drip it.

I have a similar problem with my Vector, though, that one, instead of juice ending-up on the outside of the RDA, mod and your hands, it ends up in your mouth. Airflow is so focused/efficient on that RDA that over-dripping results in you sipping your juice, rather than vaping it. Even with the screen in place.

The Hannya by the looks of it, should be a good in between RDA. Depending on your coil(s), it could be a good flavor, and cloud chaser RDA.
In my, admittedly limited, RDA experience: Bigger decks and chambers, just like with tanks and RTAs, results in less flavour/density for the same amount of power and juice.

Taking two extremes in my current stable, for example: The Marquis vs. my Velocity Mini: I can get a much more satisfactory vape from my Marquis than I can the Velocity Mini, with a fraction of the power and juice expended, and a fraction of the cloud production. I can get good flavour from the Velocity Mini, by building to much lower ohms and giving it lots of power and juice. But then I end up filling the room with clouds.

Same with my Plume Veil vs. the Velocity Mini, for that matter.

HASTUR RDA V2
Somebody finally did it: A top airflow RDA with Velocity-style posts!

The Aeolus Lite was going to be my next RDA, but now I think it's going to be the Hastur RDA V2. (I'll still get the Aeolus Lite, someday.)

Good find, @ej1024! Thanks!

For those looking at the Hannya RDA, I have a few comparisons you may find interesting. I have the Pi² RDA (postless RDA by Haus Of Zombi), the predecessor to the Hannya. Although the Pi² doesn't technically have a single coil option, the AFC is perfect for single or dual coils regardless. The Hannya does have a single coil option however, which may be more suited for some, but the Pi² reminds me of a Kennedy22, just the right amount of airflow, doesn't need any adjusting. The Hannya has closer "post holes" than the Pi², so coil installs may be a bit more finicky. And then there's the design elements. I myself prefer the simpler and less "decorated" styling of the Pi², but some may prefer the looks of the Hannya.

Just a couple of tidbits you may not have known about, it's always nice to have options (since both a very similar to one another)

Here's a Fused Clapton I built this weekend, hits like a dream in the Pi² :D
