Box mod help

I am not new to vaping though neither am I a expert. I'm a novice at best and am looking into getting a box mod. I am not new to smoking in the slightest. I currently have a nemesis with a plume veil rda clone. It's has dual coils with cotton dripping. It blows clouds and I love it but after trying out box mods and seeing the consistency they have I love them even more. What kind of box mod is equivalent to that in power? What should I be looking for when looking at box mods? What should I stay away from? Any help would be appreciated. I'm not looking into spending a crazy amount of money but hey if I need to pay a pretty penny to get something nice then so be it. Thanks again.

The power of your current setup is determined by the resistance of your coils. Here's an online Ohm's law calculator. Plug in the resistance of your build and 4.2 volts as that is what your battery will be off the charger, hit enter and you'll see what the watts for that setup are.

Can't help with info on box mods because I don't use them, but I'm sure someone who does will be by in a bit :)

After reading over your post, it seems to me that what you're really looking for is a regulated device, and not necessarily a box mod. Regulated devices keep the output voltage and/or wattage the same from beginning of the battery life to the end, unlike your Nemesis or other mechanical mods. I only bring this up because it would suck for you to go out and find a beautiful box mod, only to realize later that it too was a mechanical with same issues as your Nemesis.

There are plenty of mods that will do what you want it to. Which style/type/brand/power will be up to you. Personally, I like the form-factor of larger box mods, such as the Psyclone, HexOhm, or the Duke when I'm at home, but when out, I like the smaller box mods such as the Vapor Shark DNA 30 or the Hana DNA 30. Tube mods can be just as satisfying with the right chips inside. For me, if I'm dripping, I like DNA-30 or the Yihi SX-350 mods, but I still carry my ProVari around with an eXpromiser from time to time also. It's all subjective and comes down to what you want, since you get the consistency you're looking for from many different types and styles of devices.

Look for Variable Voltage/Variable Wattage mods. If you have a local vape shop near you where you can try out different types to see which ones work best for you, then do that.

Best of luck. Hope you find the perfect mod!

regulated box mods will outperform tube mecchys. vapingunited is speaking great wisdom.

Regulated is the way to go for consistency. If you want more power than a DNA 30 can offer there are 50,100, and even 150 watt options out there. 150 watt would probably be overkill though...

You also have the option of adding a kicker device to your mechanical.

Just throwing it out there. I'm currently using a DNA30 clone.
