Uwell Crown problems

Just ordered the Uwell Crown from Amazon and currently I've been using the Joyetech eVic VT with freemax Starre tank normally running at 55.5w, 520 degrees with a 0.15 nickel coil and just loved the flavor I got from onehitwonder's RocketMan! So I wanted to take it a step further and get the crown because I hear nothing but praise about the darn thing and I was HORRIBLY disappointed to get ZERO flavor from it! :( The ni200 0.15 coils had no flavor and I really dont like Kanthal at all but I tried both the ones it came with in power mode and they tasted slightly burned!

I just heard from a few people the tank takes a while to kick in for flavor but what if it doesnt and its like defective or something, then I cant return it or sell it to anyone and I am very tight on money right now...

The reason I got the crown was so my mother could get rid of her leaking and breaking Ronin tank and have my Starre but now that i had problems with the crown I went ahead and bought the newer version of the starre at my local cloud 9 and just gave my mother my old one.

So now I cant decide whether I should really give my crown a try and try to let it take some time to see if it kicks in or return it while I still have a chance.

And as always thank you all for any input you give me and your help! It means more than you think to a growing vape enthusiast like myself to keep learning! You all have a wonderful day and an even better vape!

I have no idea what you're talking about. I have 4 crowns that I run exclusively in TC mode with the Ni200 coil. I get nothing but Flavor and Clouds

The Crown coils need to be primed properly and broken in very slowly. In TC mode start at low temps and low W or J while using ni200 coils. Same thing with the SS coils in power mode, low W's at first.
There are no Kanthal Crown coils.

Sorry yeah I meant the SS coils not kanthal.

I primed those suckers carefully cause how packed the cotton is and let em soak really well for 20 minutes.

Some people say they didnt have to break in the coils slowly and some do. I am gonna try that and really hope for the best!

Thank you so much for your advice man! Much appreciated! :)
