I think Bob meant adding up the total of the juice that you'd typically buy premade. DIY is SOOOO much cheaper.
Oh ok. TY. I have about fourty to fifty premades and really liked only six. So now I get to play and see what I like. MilkMan is best for me so far. Still wished strawberry in it was a tad stronger. Thats my favorite flavor.

You should be able to find a bunch of similar recipes in the Recipes area. I know that's a popular one. I'm not big into strawberry, but there are some tasty vapes in the recipes section. Damn good mixes.

Good luck and have fun, it's easy to get a little disgusted at first but ck out the recipe threads, I even think there is a recipe for a milk man clone there and you can adjust to your personal taste. Vape on!

Do what you feel best about, certainly, but I've never used a mask. I just don't deeply inhale the nic,LOL. I measure what I need, put the cap right back on it. I know the first time I ever mixed, I held my breath the whole time I was so nervous.

Lol in the military I was a 3m supervisor and handled all the msds and personal protective gear for hazmat and nuclear materials for the ship I was on. Can't help to shake that style of overprotectiveness. Atleast I am not putting on a hazmat suit with oba in a clean room lol. I have overcome that much. Maybe further down the line I can relax.

You can also dilute your NIC to 50mg per ml for safer handling.
Just mix 50% NIC base with 50% VG or PG.
Break down to 30ml bottles for use and store the rest in the freezer.

Yeah I was reading on that. Had that planned. Bought 120ml bottles and was going to drop it down to 50mg per ml. I for some reason don't like a heavy pg mix. So I went 100 vg for the nic. Got a great deal at essential for 3 gallons vg and one gallon pg. So ill mix the nic to 100 vg. My mixes will all be above 75vg. Thats the sweet spot or tolerable for me. Now all I gotta figure out is how long to wait for a 120ml bottle of vg nic to get to room temp to be able to pour lol. Don't thin I'm allergic to pg just that I like a cooler smoother vape. TY so much for your input. Like a sponge Ill tae it all in. But also like a sponge I drip alot of it out lol.

You can put your nic in a bowl of warm water to thin it. I wouldnt do that often... But for now your good.

Shake the heck outta your nic before splitting it up and also before mixing.
Will do. Have you ever used a magnetic stirrer with a heating plate. Not planning on getting one anytime soon. But I was wondering about it with the breaking down of molecules in complex mixes. Say 100degrees at half an hour to get a good blend. Not worried about the steeping or anything was just wondering if that would be better then shaking the heck out of a mix. I read you like to check your nic level when you receive a batch. Was wondering for the long run if it was good to check the nic of a frozen batch after a period of time. Took note on what I read but heck I lost em lol.

Yeah there is a whole bunch of different ideas and ways. What makes diy so diverse. For now think I'll stick to the shake n roll myself. Just like I said with 3m some chemical bases required stirring and heat to activate fully. No way am I a chemical engineer. Wished sometimes lol. TY so much for all your help. Greatly appreciated.

Some say it's best to roll the nic container ( if possible ) rather than shaking it ... both work obviously but supposedly rolling mixes it well without creating too much additional turbulence.

+1 best rolled instead of shaking, or gently stirred even.

Oh ok. TY. I have about fourty to fifty premades and really liked only six. So now I get to play and see what I like. MilkMan is best for me so far. Still wished strawberry in it was a tad stronger. Thats my favorite flavor.

One of the stronger and tastier strawberries is Inawera's Shisha Strawberry, probably my favorite SB of the about 10 different SB's I have. It is pricey and hard to get though so a lot of times I mix it with Cap sweet sb which is more readily available. TFA's Ripe and regular SB are ones to keep on hand as well.

There are a few tricks to make SB pop a little more, here are a few that have worked for me: A low percentage ( .25 to .5%) of Raspberry, my personal favorite it Inawera but TFA sweet raspberry will work as well. The same can be done with TFA Dragonfruit at the same low percentages but INW Rasp is still preferable to me. Kiwi is another flavor that can help make fruit flavors pop, worked great for a peach recipe I tried but haven't tried it with SB.
For me the Inawera Raspberry has been the best of all the tricks I tried to get SB to pop in mixes when they tend to get a little week, these are usually creamy or custard mixes.

Here is a mix that I tried with 3 different sb flavors mixed in equal percentages: http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/178674/fresh03%27s+Strawberry+Milkshake#
It is pretty good and I did use all the SB's he had listed and you do get a nice SB taste from it. I might substitute FA SB for INW Shisha next time to make the SB pop more or just add .25% of INW Rasp. I like FA SB but I think most would agree it is one of there weaker flavors, not as concentrated as the most of the FA line but it is tasty.

I started off small like you and most here with DIY but now have a cabinet full of flavors. DIY is pricey at the start but compared to store bought the savings will add up real fast. It really has become my favorite hobby and luckily my least expensive and I hope it becomes that for you.

Thank you for your service to our country, it is very much appreciated.

Here is a real simple recipe you might want to try, it is a clone of Perfect Cloudz Whip it which was mainly in CA but tasty and simple.

TFA Whipped Cream 10%

TFA Strawberry 10%

It is good like that but if you want it a little sweeter try adding 1% sweetener to it or maybe even marshmallow or cotton candy/ethyl maltol

I still had a bottle of Whip it, enough to smell but not enough to vape and those 2 ingredients above are what they used for sure. There might have been another ingredient or 2 but without a larger bottle to vape that's the best I can do and everyone who tries it likes it as is.

Dont know if thats alot of strawberry or not lol. But I love strawberry might be too little for me....jk

I brought up those 2 recipes because you had mentioned you wished the strawberry in your favorite brand was a bit stronger. Not all Strawberries are the same from brand to brand, CAP Sweet SB is weaker than INW Shisha SB, with the later anywhere from 3 to 6% may be more than enough. If you were to mix the Whip it Clone I posted with Shisha SB then 6% would probably be good enough. The other recipe I linked to uses a total of 10% SB, 1/3 from 3 different brands. That recipe the SB is not as bold as with the Whip it clone.

I mix for a few friends as well and everyone is different. One friend of mine loves really sweet and bold flavors, one mix I can't even vape my-self, too sweet but he loves it. The trick is to find what works for you to keep you off the stinkies.
