Burn taste from coil

Hey i got the smok x cube 2 with tfv3 coils and it has been working fine but I put in a new coil and I let the e liquid saturate it for 15minutes and get a burn taste, I have tried 3 more TFV3 coils and still the same issue, I am getting vapour but a burn smell, anyone got any ideas?

80-100W, I have tried 5 different coils now and the same issue....I prime them before I put them in my tank...could it be a issue with the device? Like I said it gives off great vapour but there is a horrible burn taste on every coil and don't want to keep trying coils it just seems useless :/

You may be setting the wattage too high for the coils, what is the wattage you have it set at?

I tried 100 and 80, the same I used before with no issues, I'm confused as to why it is randomly happening and with every coil it does the same. It gives off as much vapour as before but there is certainly something wrong due to this burning smell.

What are the specs on the coils, some say what wattage they are good to run at....

I suppose anything is possible, I will move this thread to coils area to see what others may chime in with for you, good luck:)

Its somewhat common to get a bad set of pre made coil heads. A good friend of mine had the same problem, sometime the shop will refund you if you take them in and explain whats going on
