So it has been so hard to decide for a while between the IPV5 and SMOK R200 i am torn between these two and getting both is not an option, as of lately i started paying more attention to the Laisimo L1 but have mixed feelings about its large colorful screen, i am not sure this is a good idea for a mod and it costs much more than the other two options, but i would also love to hear your thoughts about it as well.
The main comparison here is between IPV5 vs. R200, they are almost in the same price range and it has been really hard to decide between those two
Factors for considering the IPV5:
- The outstanding Yihi chip performance, in terms of accuracy and versatility
- The amazing 510
- The high quality build and finish
- The light weight
CONS:
- P4Y are known to be lousy in the software update and functionality department and updates are not released frequently.
- The 75W glitch that seems to come back after replacing the battery which is really stupid
- Looks ugly and bulky to me than needs be
Factors for considering the R200:
- Very light weight which i like a lot
- Slim and can almost be used as a stealth vape
- Fits in hand and pocket great
- Looks very elegant and classy
- Amazing build and finish quality
- Long 510 which could easily take RDA/RTA with protruding pin
- SMOK are very good in the software department and have a good update history
- Battery door looks very easy to get batteries out, maybe not the case for getting them back in
- I like the fact that the battery cover is on the bottom and does not get in the way while vaping.
- Software functionality seems different than other mods and would be interesting to try out
CONS:
- not very accurate power regulation and TC performance
- resistance reading is a bit off
- battery door seems like a pain in the ass to put back on with batteries inside
- some reviews say that buttons feel cheap
- EDIT: unable to adjust wattage in TC mode
Can you please help me make a decision?
